What it is
SmartProcedures is a digital procedure lifecycle and connected-worker platform for complex, high-risk operations. Authors create structured procedures using XML stored in SQL, with centrally managed templates separating content from formatting. Its Step Analyzer Module checks for issues such as vague language, lengthy steps, and difficult readability. Automated review and approval workflows, plus version control at both step and procedure level, support governed updates. Operators can use mobile-adapted FlexViews, complete digital sign-offs, follow multimedia guidance, and enter information interactively. An optional offline feature stores procedures and execution data on a device for later synchronization. The platform can generate interactive computer-based training from current procedure content and track learner progress. ATR describes integrations with learning management, ERP, and document management systems, including Maximo, SAP, and Meridium.
