What it is
iTop is an open-source IT service management platform centered on service management and a configuration management database. Its service catalog connects incident, request, problem and change processes and supports SLA calculation. A web portal lets users submit requests, follow progress and send updates in real time. The CMDB handles configurable items, synchronization, impact analysis, audits and asset management. iTop Designer provides a low-code graphical interface for changing workflows, attributes, menus and other elements. Integrations include a REST API, webhooks and collectors or integrations for OCS Inventory, VMware, Microsoft Graph, Azure, vSphere and Ansible. Listed controls include role-based permissions, SSO, MFA, brute-force protection and department data silos. The Community offer costs nothing and is listed for on-premise use. Atelier and Forge offers have unlisted prices and SaaS or on-premise availability. Combodo describes long- and short-term release lifecycles and a public vulnerability process.
