Embed
What it is
Embed is payment infrastructure for software platforms, combining ecommerce, point-of-sale, and subscription payments through one integration. Platforms can accept payments globally, configure tiered, blended, or cost-plus pricing by customer segment, and use balance accounts to move funds among multiple parties. Payouts can be arranged on demand or on schedules, with split payments supported. Domestic virtual IBANs are available across Europe and safeguarded by tier-one banks. Documented payment methods include cards, open banking, SEPA, SEPA Direct Debit, iDEAL, and Vipps. Integration guides cover payment components, links, in-person and recurring payments, and balance accounts. A functional sandbox supports payment and integration testing, test-merchant onboarding, credential management, and reconciliation-report downloads. Embed also provides reports, integration support, advanced KYC/AML tools, full account management, and standard API and SDK coverage. It is PCI-DSS compliant. The paid service has no free plan and offers API and web access.
