What it is
CubeBackup provides self-hosted backup for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, with backup data stored on-premises or in private cloud storage. Backups run automatically every hour, and incremental runs save only new or modified data. Unlimited versions support point-in-time restoration, including restoring data to another account or domain. Google Workspace coverage includes Gmail, Drive, Shared Drives, Contacts, Calendar and Sites; Microsoft 365 coverage includes OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook Mail, People and Calendar. Destinations include local disk, NAS, Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob Storage and S3-compatible storage such as Backblaze B2 and Wasabi. The product lists AES and RSA encryption, TLS 1.2 for data in transit, two-factor authentication for the console and an immutable audit log. CubeBackup says it complies with GDPR, CCPA and other data protection regulations. Shared drive, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint site backups are free of charge, though active backup users need licenses. There is no free plan; Education / Non-profit pricing is $2 a year and Business / Enterprise pricing is $5 a year. A 14-day trial is available.
