Soundraw says you can use, monetize, and share its generated beats under a worldwide, perpetual commercial-use license. That is a license claim, not proof that you own copyright in every AI-generated note. The U.S. Copyright Office says material generated entirely by AI is not copyrightable in the United States, and prompts alone do not make the person who entered them the author. So the practical answer is: Soundraw grants broad permission to use its tracks under its license terms, while copyright ownership depends on what parts of the finished music are human-authored and what the applicable terms say.
What Soundraw Says You Can Do With A Track
Soundraw’s site says every beat is legally yours to use, monetize, and share, and that each track carries a worldwide, perpetual license for commercial use. It says you can post tracks on YouTube, Spotify, TikTok, or elsewhere and keep 100% of the revenue, with no copyright claims. Those are Soundraw’s stated license terms; read the current terms on Soundraw before relying on them for a release, client project, or monetized channel.

The site distinguishes plans by use. Its Creator plan is described for content creators, individuals, and small companies with fewer than 10 employees, and lists commercial use and use as background music at €5.83 per month. Artist Starter is listed at €10.75 per month for music artists and producers, with commercial use, background use, distribution and monetization of songs, and 10 monthly track downloads. The site lists Artist Unlimited at €17.42 per month and says it includes unlimited monthly track downloads and downloads as MP3, WAV, and stems. Does The License Mean You Own The Copyright?
Not necessarily. A license gives permission to use material under stated conditions; copyright is a separate question. The U.S. Copyright Office says works generated entirely by AI are not copyrightable, prompts by themselves do not make someone the author, and only human-authored parts of a mixed work may be protected. Soundraw’s broad “yours” wording should therefore be read as a use-and-monetization claim, not as a guarantee that you hold exclusive copyright over AI-generated music.

If a work submitted for U.S. copyright registration contains more than a minimal amount of AI-generated material, the applicant must disclose that material and describe the human author’s contribution. See the U.S. Copyright Office’s AI report and guidance.
A Practical Galaxy Workflow Before You Publish
- Choose the Soundraw plan whose stated use covers your project. For background music, the Creator plan lists that use; for distributing and monetizing songs, Artist Starter lists that use.
- Keep a copy of the track, the plan and license information that applied when you made it, and any project records. Soundraw’s site does not specify a particular recordkeeping process, so retain what you need to document your own use.
- If you add original lyrics, vocals, playing, or other human-created material, keep the source project and a clear record of your contributions. The Copyright Office says only the human-authored parts of a mixed work may be protected.
- Before uploading from your Galaxy phone, check the current Soundraw terms for your exact use and verify that the file type and export options you need are available on your plan. Do not assume an unsupported format or workflow from the general license claim.
- At upload, follow the destination service’s current rules on disclosures and rights. Soundraw’s site names YouTube, Spotify, and TikTok as places to post, but that does not establish every platform’s separate eligibility or monetization requirements.
Voices, Covers, Samples, And Platform Rules
A broad music license does not establish permission to imitate a real singer, use someone else’s recording or composition, or include a voice without consent. Get consent where needed and check Soundraw’s current terms and the relevant platform rules for the specific voice, cover, or sample. Soundraw’s supplied license statements do not spell out those cases.

Spotify says vocal impersonation is allowed only when the impersonated artist has authorized it, and YouTube requires disclosure of realistic altered or synthetic content that could be mistaken for a real person’s performance. YouTube’s inauthentic-content policy targets mass-produced, repetitive, or template-based uploads, rather than AI use by itself. A Soundraw license does not override those service rules.
