Copyright-free music can still require attribution. “Copyright-free” is often used loosely: it does not tell you whether a track is public domain, royalty-free under a license, or free to use only if you credit its creator. Check the specific track’s terms before adding it to a Galaxy video, podcast, or other project. Soundimage requires proper attribution; Tunee’s free plan requires attribution for personal projects; AI Makes Song says free users can publish with attribution.
What Attribution Means For Your Project
Attribution is a credit naming the music’s creator or service, placed where viewers or listeners can find it. Follow the wording and placement the provider requests. If its terms do not specify those details, check its site before publishing. A credit does not grant rights beyond the license, and it does not make a noncommercial license suitable for commercial work.

When These Music Sources Require Credit
Soundimage
Soundimage makes original music and other assets available to creators, and says commercial use is fine. It also says proper attribution is required to use its assets legally. For a Galaxy video or podcast, check the site for the exact credit wording and any other conditions before publishing. Soundimage
Tunee
Tunee’s free plan allows music for personal projects with attribution; its site gives “Created by Tunee AI” as an attribution example. The listed free-plan limitation is personal, noncommercial use, so a credit alone does not make a free-plan track suitable for an ad or other commercial project. Tunee says paid subscribers get full commercial rights, but check its current terms for the plan and track you intend to use. Tunee

Prompting Music For A Phone Video
For a Galaxy clip, decide what the music needs to do before choosing a track: sit quietly beneath speech, add energy to a montage, or create a calm background. Tunee supports conversational prompts, so you can describe that intended role—for example, “Create gentle instrumental background music for a short travel video; keep it unobtrusive under narration.” This is a prompt example, not a claim that Tunee supports a particular genre, duration, or editing control. Check the service for available styles and options.

A credit addresses an attribution requirement; it does not establish that every element in a track is cleared for every use. When music includes a recognizable voice, cover, or sample, check the service’s terms and confirm that you have any needed consent. The available product information does not establish specific voice, cover, or sample permissions for these services, so check with the provider before publishing such material.

AI-generated music also raises a separate copyright question in the United States. The U.S. Copyright Office says material generated entirely by AI is not copyrightable, prompts alone do not make someone the author, and human-authored parts of a mixed work may be protected. Applicants registering a work containing more than a minimal amount of AI-generated material must disclose it and describe the human author’s contribution. These points concern copyright protection and registration; they do not replace a music service’s license or attribution terms. U.S. Copyright Office AI report
