In the U.S., you generally do not need a separate government license just because a track was made with AI. But you may need permission or a paid plan to use it in a video, post, podcast, client project, or release: the music service’s terms determine what it allows, and copyright protection is a separate question. A Galaxy phone user should check the track’s plan and license before publishing or monetizing it.
What Does “License” Mean For AI Music?
There are two different questions: whether you may use a generated track under the service’s terms, and whether the track—or parts of it—can receive copyright protection. The U.S. Copyright Office says material generated entirely by AI is not copyrightable, prompts alone do not make a person its author, and human-authored parts of a mixed work may be protected. If you register a work containing more than a minimal amount of AI-generated material, you must disclose it and describe the human contribution. U.S. Copyright Office AI report

Read the applicable plan terms and save the license or certificate the service provides; a commercial-use permission is not a promise that every element is copyrightable or that no other rights issue can arise.
Can You Use The Track For Your Project?
These examples show what the listed services state about licensing. A plan name or price is not enough to establish rights; confirm the current terms for your account and the particular use before publishing.

| Service | What The Available Information Says | What To Check |
|---|---|---|
| Suno | Its site says songs created as a paid subscriber are yours to use, including as video background music or in an album, and identifies full commercial rights on Pro. The Free Plan does not include commercial rights. | Confirm the track was created under an eligible paid plan and check the terms for your intended use. |
| Eleven Music | Its site describes tracks as cleared for broad commercial use, while also saying commercial rights vary by subscription tier. The directory notes exclusions for film, TV, and studio games. | Check the subscription tier and whether your project falls within an exclusion. |
| Soundverse AI Beat Maker | Its site says beats are royalty-ready and that a commercial license is available for releasing and monetizing tracks. The Creator & Pro listing includes commercial licenses. | Check which plan and license apply to the track you export. |
| Loudly | Its site describes generated music as commercially licensed and says a commercial license is included. Its plan information says licensing rights depend on plan terms. | Read the terms for your plan and the specific distribution or project. |
| Musicful | Its site says a downloaded track comes with a non-exclusive perpetual license, while Musicful retains ownership. Its directory listing says Free/Basic is non-commercial and commercial use is limited to Standard/Pro. | Verify your plan qualifies and retain the license information for the download. |
| Tunee | Its site says paid subscribers receive commercial rights; free users may use music for personal projects with attribution. It also says copyright law for AI music is evolving and it cannot guarantee copyright protection. | Check the terms for your plan and follow the attribution requirement if using the free plan. |
What Changes If The Track Uses A Voice, Cover, Or Sample?
A service’s commercial-use license does not establish that you have permission to use another person’s voice, an existing song, or uploaded audio. Get consent where needed and check both the service’s terms and the rights attached to the source material. Do not present an AI voice as an artist’s authorized performance unless you have that authorization: Spotify says vocal impersonation is allowed only when the impersonated artist has authorized it. If you upload a melody, lyrics, recording, or reference track from your Galaxy, make sure you have the right to provide it to the service. The product information here does not establish a blanket permission for covers, samples, or voice cloning.

What Should Galaxy Users Check Before Publishing?
- Open the service’s current terms for the plan used to generate or download the track. Confirm that the license covers your intended use, such as monetized video, client work, or a music release.
- Save the track’s license, certificate, or account record when the service provides one. Keep it with the exported audio so you can identify the plan and terms that applied.
- Check every human contribution and source you added, including lyrics, vocals, samples, and uploaded recordings. Get consent and check the applicable platform terms for each one.
- Review the destination platform’s rules before upload. YouTube requires a label for realistic altered or synthetic content that could be mistaken for a real person’s performance. Its inauthentic-content policy targets mass-produced, repetitive, or template-based uploads rather than AI use by itself. YouTube policy clarification
- On a Galaxy phone, choose a service whose listed access fits your workflow: Suno, Soundverse AI Beat Maker, and Musicful list Android availability; Loudly is listed as web-based. Check the vendor’s site for current device support, export steps, and any specifics not established here.
For example, you could create a short background cue for a Galaxy-shot video, then verify the generation plan’s commercial terms, save the license, and check YouTube’s synthetic-content disclosure rules if the finished video could make a voice or performance seem real. The service information here does not establish support for a particular genre, mood, instrument, or prompt; check the vendor’s site for those specifics.
