For Samsung Galaxy users, the most reliable AI music prompt formula is: format + genre reference + mood + tempo or movement + instruments + vocal direction + lyric or theme brief + arrangement change. Use the same structure in Suno when you want a complete song with editing and stems, and in Udio when you want prompt-led creation followed by lyric, voice, style, or timeline refinement. The formulas below are written for specific music-making jobs, so you can paste one into a generator and then adjust one variable at a time.

Which Prompt Formula Should You Start With?

Rank Formula Best Fit Useful Control
1 Scene + genre + groove + instruments + vocal brief Fast first draft Clear overall direction
2 Section map + energy curve + transition cue Structured songs Verse, chorus and bridge movement
3 Lyric brief + voice direction + phrasing Vocal-led tracks Words and delivery
4 Reference mood + exclusions + texture Style correction Removing unwanted traits
5 Instrumental loop + edit instruction Background music Keeping space for speech
6 Transformation prompt + arrangement change Reworking a draft New energy without starting over

1. The Complete Song Formula

Use A Six-Part Brief

Start with a sentence that names the musical job, then add details in a fixed order: song type, genre, mood, rhythmic feel, instruments, and vocal or lyric direction. This prevents a long pile of disconnected adjectives. For example:

“Create a complete song for a late-night train ride, modern synth-pop, reflective but hopeful, mid-tempo four-on-the-floor groove, pulsing bass, glassy pads and restrained electric guitar, intimate lead vocal, lyrics about leaving a familiar city and choosing a new start.”

For Suno, this broad natural-language approach matches its documented workflow: you can describe a genre, mood, topic or your own lyrics, then create the song. Suno also lists controls for voices, inspiration, exclusions, vocal gender, weirdness and style. On a Galaxy phone, keep the brief in a notes app so you can revise a single clause between generations.

In Udio, use the same brief as the starting prompt, then adjust the lyric or style direction after hearing the first version. Udio’s documented workflow supports vocal or instrumental songs from text prompts and lyrics, with later lyric and style editing.

2. The Section Map Formula

Tell The Generator How Energy Should Move

A genre label does not explain arrangement. Add a compact map using sections and a change for each one:

“Indie dance song, 118 BPM feel, verse with muted bass and close vocal, pre-chorus adds rising synth and handclaps, chorus opens with wide guitars and stacked vocal hooks, second verse strips back, bridge drops to drums and vocal, final chorus adds a bright counter-melody and longer ending.”

The “BPM feel” wording is deliberate: the supplied product information does not establish that either service guarantees an exact tempo from a prompt. Treat the number as a target, then check the result. If the first render rushes, change only the movement phrase (“steady mid-tempo,” “half-time,” or “driving double-time feel”) so you can identify which instruction changed the result.

This formula is especially useful when a short Galaxy recording needs a clear beginning, lift and payoff. Write the section map before adding lyrical detail; otherwise the model may spend its attention on words and flatten the arrangement.

3. The Lyric And Vocal Formula

Separate Story, Structure And Delivery

Give the lyric task three layers: subject, point of view and delivery. Example:

“Alt-pop vocal song about rebuilding confidence after a difficult move; first-person verses with concrete details, a chorus built around one short repeatable phrase, a bridge that changes from doubt to decision; warm low-register lead, conversational verses, lifted sustained notes in the chorus, clean ending.”

If you already wrote lyrics, paste only the section you want shaped and identify it as your own text. Suno’s facts specifically support using your own lyrics and steering vocal choices. Udio’s facts support lyric editing and voice-reference blending. Do not name a real singer unless you have permission to use that reference, and do not upload or imitate a person’s voice without consent. Check each platform’s current terms before releasing a track, especially when another person’s voice, lyrics or recording is involved.

For a Galaxy workflow, keep verse, chorus and bridge in separate note blocks. That makes it easier to replace one section in Suno or revise lyrics in Udio without accidentally changing the entire brief.

4. The Exclusions And Texture Formula

Describe What Must Stay Out

When the result is close but wrong, use a positive target followed by a short exclusion list. Example:

“Minimal rainy-morning lo-fi beat, dusty electric piano, soft brushed drums, rounded bass, gentle tape texture, space for spoken narration; exclude bright festival synths, aggressive drums, dramatic risers and busy lead melodies.”

Suno explicitly lists exclusions and style controls, so this format gives its creation controls a clear job. Udio’s documented tools cover style shaping and later refinement; use the exclusions as an editorial instruction and check what the current interface accepts. Keep exclusions to the traits you actually hear. A list of twenty prohibitions can obscure the main musical idea.

5. The Instrumental Background Formula

Reserve Space For A Voice Or Video

For a podcast bed, travel reel or spoken Galaxy video, state what the music must leave open:

“Instrumental neo-soul background for a two-minute cooking video, relaxed mid-tempo pocket, electric piano, muted guitar, soft bass and light percussion, warm and optimistic, simple eight-bar motif, no lead vocal, no abrupt drops, keep the midrange uncluttered for speech, gentle resolved ending.”

Both Suno and Udio are documented as able to generate instrumental songs from text prompts. The “keep the midrange uncluttered” instruction is a creative target, not a promise of automatic audio mixing, so listen with phone speakers and headphones before using it under dialogue.

6. The Transformation Formula

Change One Musical Dimension At A Time

When a draft has a useful melody but the wrong setting, ask for one controlled transformation:

“Transform this acoustic folk draft into a restrained electronic version: keep the vocal melody and lyric meaning, replace strummed guitar with soft sequenced pulses and sub-bass, add a wider chorus, keep the verses intimate, and finish with a short instrumental tail.”

Udio documents audio extension and transformation, plus timeline refinement in Sessions. Suno documents editing, remixing, extensions, section replacement and stem export. Those capabilities make a transformation prompt more practical than regenerating from nothing, but the exact result depends on the source and current plan. If you need exported stems, check the current plan terms: Suno’s free plan does not include stem separation, and Udio says audio, video and stem downloads are disabled during its stated transition period.

Rights, Plans And A Galaxy-Friendly Workflow

Check Usage Before Publishing

  • Suno is freemium, with a free plan and paid plans from $8 per month. The free plan does not include commercial rights; its listed free limits include 50 credits per day and an eight-minute audio upload. Suno is available on web, iOS and Android, while Suno Studio is limited to the Premier plan.
  • Udio is freemium, with a free plan, paid plans from $10 per month and a seven-day trial. Its listed free allowance is 10 daily credits and 100 monthly credits; paid plans provide higher monthly credit limits. Downloads are currently disabled during the stated transition period.

Before monetizing, sharing a cover, using a voice reference or incorporating uploaded audio, read the vendor’s current terms and confirm that you have consent for every voice, lyric and sample. The directory facts do not establish a universal commercial license for every workflow.

A Five-Minute Phone Workflow

  1. Write the formula in Samsung Notes with the song purpose first.
  2. Generate one version with only the core brief.
  3. Change one variable, such as groove, vocal delivery or exclusions.
  4. Save the prompt beside the version that improved.
  5. Check rights, downloads and plan limits on the vendor site before publishing.

Use the formula that matches the problem you can name: complete-song direction for a first draft, section mapping for arrangement, lyric and vocal separation for words, exclusions for cleanup, instrumental spacing for spoken content, and transformation prompts for controlled revisions.
