What it is
Smart Book is a CRM and field-service management platform for owner-led local service businesses. It keeps customer records, schedules, recurring work, estimates, invoices, reporting, and field roles in one workflow. Businesses can schedule one-time jobs or weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and custom recurring visits. Estimates support line items and secure approval links; accepted work can become a job, and invoices connect to the client and job. Technicians using My Day on a phone can view assignments, route order, directions, notes, attachments, and start or completion actions. Stripe connection supports invoice payments, saved-card workflows, and AutoPay when enabled and authorized, with processing fees separate. Smart Book runs on Android, iOS, and the web, supports CSV client import and export, and offers customer portals and treatment documentation. The Whole Crew plan costs $30 a month or $300 a year, with unlimited team members. A 7-day trial is available, but no free plan is offered.
