What it is
Rillsoft Project is planning software for scheduling, resources, capacity, multiple projects, and project controlling. Gantt charts, dependencies, automatic scheduling, critical-path analysis, and buffer times support detailed plans. A central resource pool records capacities, qualifications, working times, and availability across parallel projects. Capacity analysis can expose demand and bottlenecks before specific employees are assigned. Controlling compares progress, schedules, effort, and costs with reference plans to show variances. The Windows desktop client can use local files, an on-premise Integration Server, or Rillsoft Cloud. MS Project data moves through XML, while Excel exchange uses CSV. A full-function trial lasts 30 days; afterward, existing projects can be read but not created or edited. Freeware is limited to private, non-commercial use, and Reader cannot edit. Paid single-user licenses start at €357 a month plus applicable VAT.
