Nuremberg, Germany
What it is
playtesting.de is a web portal and directory for discovering games, demos, and apps, then helping shape them through feedback. It supports developer, tester, and streamer roles under one account. Testers can register and use the portal free of charge, although individual products may require specific hardware, software, or accounts on outside platforms. Directory filters cover platform, language, genre, and access type, while product pages list versions, requirements, and next steps. Feedback guidance asks testers to record observations, expected behavior, reproduction steps, and impact. Creators can request keys, publish coverage, and maintain profiles with channels, topics, and platforms. Developers can submit products for review after assigning them to an organization. The Playtesting Updater installs, updates, and starts available games. Downloads include Windows and macOS updater builds, including macOS 14+ versions for Apple Silicon and Intel.
