What it is
A Seat Awaits is web-based seating chart software for event planners. It imports guest lists, lays out tables, assigns seats, and provides a QR code or link for guests to find their table without logging in. The editor supports real-to-scale layouts, grid snapping, venue shapes, and a 3D preview. AI guest import accepts CSV and Excel files, cleans names, removes duplicates, detects households and plus-ones, and captures dietary notes. Users can export guest lists with assignments to Excel or PDF and export or print floor plans as PDFs. The service is intended for weddings, galas, conferences, school banquets, and corporate dinners seating 25 to 1,000 guests. One-time passes cost $9.99, paid once for up to 50 guests, $19.99, paid once for up to 150, and $39.99, paid once for up to 500. Pro costs $49 a month for 100 events and up to 1,000 guests per event. A browser sample works without an account, but its work does not carry over.
