AI music provenance is the record that shows how a track was made, which human contributions remain, whose voice or material was used, and what the platform allows. For a Galaxy user, keep that record with the project: save prompts, source files, model or product name, plan, exports, consent, and every disclosure you make when publishing. This makes an AI-assisted song easier to explain and reduces avoidable rights and impersonation problems.
What Provenance Should Record
Create one note for every released track. Include:
- The product and URL used, plus the date and subscription tier.
- The exact prompts, lyrics, uploaded references, edits, stems, and final export.
- What you wrote, performed, edited, arranged, or mixed yourself.
- Consent records for any named person’s voice or performance, and permission for every sample or uploaded recording.
- The product’s commercial-use, attribution, and download terms at the time of release.
- Any AI disclosure required by the service where you publish.
What Copyright And Platform Rules Mean
The U.S. Copyright Office says material generated entirely by AI is not copyrightable, prompts alone do not make someone the author, and human-authored parts of a mixed work may be protected. If an application contains more than a minimal amount of AI-generated material, the applicant must disclose it and describe the human contribution. U.S. Copyright Office AI report

YouTube requires disclosure for realistic altered or synthetic content that could be mistaken for a real person’s performance. Its inauthentic-content policy targets mass-produced, repetitive, or template-based uploads rather than AI use by itself. YouTube policy clarification
A Galaxy-Friendly Provenance Workflow
- Start a track log. In Samsung Notes or a cloud document, create a title, date, product, plan, prompt, and intended use before generating audio.
- Use a rights-safe brief. Describe tempo, instruments, mood, structure, and vocal type without naming a living artist or requesting an imitation.
- Separate human and generated parts. Save your original lyrics, MIDI, recordings, edits, and mix decisions alongside each generated version.
- Check voice and source consent. Do not upload a singer’s recording, a copyrighted sample, or a recognizable identity unless you have permission that covers this use.
- Verify the plan before export. Record whether the selected tier permits commercial use, attribution-free publishing, stems, and the destination you need.
- Disclose at release. Add the required AI label or credit, keep the provenance note, and update it if you replace a section, vocal, or stem.
Product Evidence For Ethical Use
| Product | Stated rights or provenance evidence | Limit to record |
|---|---|---|
| Suno | Paid-subscriber songs are yours to keep; the Pro plan states commercial-use rights. | Free does not include commercial rights or stem separation; Pro limits downloads to 20 songs per month. |
| Eleven Music | Tracks are cleared for broad commercial use, with rights varying by subscription tier. | Free is personal use; commercial rights exclude film, TV, and studio games according to the stated limitation. Check the tier terms. |
| Loudly | Loudly describes rights-safe training principles and commercially licensed, royalty-free music. | Paid licensing rights depend on the plan; free generated tracks are limited to 30 seconds. |
| Mureka | Its site says downloaded tracks include full commercial rights across platforms and projects. | Record the exact plan and download terms; Studio and up-to-12-stem splitting are Premier-only features. |
| Musicful | A download provides a non-exclusive perpetual license, while Musicful retains ownership. | Commercial use is limited to Standard and Pro; Free and Basic are non-commercial. |
| Songin.ai | Paid-plan music is stated as commercially usable for YouTube, Spotify, ads, and games. | Free downloads are watermarked MP3 files for personal use; Premium is required for multitrack stems. |
| Tunee | Paid subscribers receive full commercial rights; free users may use music for personal projects with attribution. | Tunee says copyright law is evolving and offers no absolute guarantee of copyright protection. |
| ACE-Step API | The API is built on the open-source ACE-Step model and states royalty-free output. | Keep the API request and model details in your log, and check the current service and model terms before release. |
Suno: Preserve The Paid-Tier Record
For a Suno song, save the plan name with the generation and export date. If you use vocals, lyrics, section replacement, remixing, extensions, or stems, list which parts came from you and which came from Suno. Android access makes it practical to update the log immediately after a session.

Eleven Music: Track Tier-Specific Clearance
Eleven Music offers full-song, vocal, lyric, and instrumental workflows. Put the subscription tier beside every export because its stated commercial rights vary by tier, and do not assume a broad commercial statement covers film, television, or studio-game use.
Loudly: Keep The License With The Distribution Plan
If you remix uploaded audio or distribute a generated track, retain the source-file permission and the Loudly plan used. A rights-safe training statement does not replace permission for audio you supplied.

Mureka: Document Voice And Reference Inputs
Mureka supports reference audio and voice cloning. For an ethical record, identify the speaker, obtain consent for cloning, and preserve the original reference file and permission. Treat its commercial-rights statement as plan-specific evidence.
Musicful: Explain The Non-Exclusive License
Musicful is available on web, iOS, and Android and supports vocal or instrumental stems. When publishing, note that your download is licensed non-exclusively and that Musicful retains ownership; do not present the track as an exclusive copyright assignment.

Songin.ai: Separate Personal And Paid Exports
Songin.ai is web-only. Mark free, watermarked MP3s as personal-use material in your archive, and keep the paid-plan receipt or plan name with any commercial export.
Tunee: Include Attribution When Required
Tunee supports conversational prompts, reference uploads, stem separation, mastering, and voice cloning across web, iOS, and macOS. For free-plan work, include the required Tunee attribution in the release record and obtain consent before any voice-cloning use.

ACE-Step API: Archive The Request
For an API workflow, save the request payload, response, model version shown by the service, and output file hash. The stated royalty-free output is useful provenance evidence, while the open-source model does not remove your responsibility for uploaded material or identity consent.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Prompt And Release Examples
Generation brief: “Create a 90-second instrumental for a phone-shot travel montage: 100 BPM, acoustic guitar, soft synth pad, no named artist imitation, no recognizable melody, and a clean ending.” Save that exact text, the generated file, and your human edits.
Voice-safe brief: “Use a fictional adult vocalist with a neutral delivery; do not imitate a real singer.” If you later add a real singer’s recording, attach written consent and identify that human performance separately.
Release note: “AI-generated instrumental created with [product] on [date] under [plan]. Human contribution: original structure, lyrics or arrangement, recorded parts, edits, and final mix. Uploaded material used with permission.” Replace the brackets with your actual record and add the platform’s required disclosure.
When Evidence Is Missing
Product pages do not establish every genre, language, vocal identity, sample source, platform policy, or registration outcome. If a detail is not stated for the product or plan you chose, check the vendor’s current terms and the destination platform before publishing, and record what you found. That honest gap is part of provenance.
