For AI audio made on a Samsung Galaxy, legal compliance depends on what you put into the generator, the service plan and license attached to the output, and the rules of the place you publish it. A paid-plan label alone does not establish copyright ownership or guarantee that a track will be accepted for every use. Keep source files, plan and license records, and any required AI disclosures with each project.

What U.S. Copyright Covers In AI-Generated Music

The U.S. Copyright Office says a work generated entirely by AI is not copyrightable, and prompts alone do not make the user its author. In a mixed work, only the human-authored parts may be protected. If you register a work containing more than a minimal amount of AI-generated material, you must disclose that material and describe your human contribution. U.S. Copyright Office AI report

For a Galaxy workflow, preserve your own lyrics, melody, arrangement, edits, and project notes as they develop. These records help identify what you contributed; they do not turn an entirely AI-generated passage into a copyrightable one.

Check These Rights Before Generating Or Publishing

  • Prompt and reference material: Use lyrics, recordings, samples, and other inputs only when you have permission to use them. Do not prompt for a direct copy of a copyrighted work or a protected artist’s material. Musicful itself encourages users to avoid directly copying copyrighted works or protected content from specific artists. Musicful
  • Voices and likeness: Get consent before imitating an identifiable person’s voice or performance, and check the generator’s terms for voice cloning and uploaded references. Spotify says vocal impersonation is allowed only when the impersonated artist has authorized it. Spotify policy announcement coverage
  • Commercial use: Confirm the exact plan, license, permitted uses, and any restrictions before monetizing, distributing, or delivering audio to a client. Save the terms and any license certificate that applies at the time you create or download the track.
  • Platform disclosure and monetization: YouTube requires a disclosure label for realistic altered or synthetic content that could be mistaken for a real person’s performance. Its inauthentic-content policy targets mass-produced, repetitive, or template-based uploads; AI use by itself is not the stated target. How The Listed Services Describe Their Rights

These statements are useful starting points, not a substitute for the current terms for your plan and use case. Where a service does not establish the needed detail here, check the vendor’s site before relying on the output.

Service Rights information established What to verify
Suno Paid subscriber-created songs are described as yours to keep and use; the Pro plan is described as including full commercial rights. The Free plan does not include commercial rights. Confirm the applicable paid plan and current terms. The Free plan is not the commercial-use route described here.
Eleven Music Tracks are described as cleared for broad commercial use, while commercial rights vary by subscription tier. The Free plan is limited to personal use. Confirm the rights for your tier and intended use. The stated limitations exclude film, TV, and studio games.
Soundverse AI Beat Maker Beats are described as royalty-ready, and a commercial license is available for releasing and monetizing tracks. Confirm what your selected plan grants and retain the applicable license terms.
Loudly The service describes its generated music as royalty-free and commercially licensed. Paid licensing rights depend on plan terms. Check the plan terms for your project and destination before use.
Mureka The service describes tracks as royalty-free and says downloads include full commercial rights across platforms and projects. Check current terms for the account and output you are using.
Musicful Downloads are described as carrying a non-exclusive, perpetual license; Musicful retains ownership. A commercial license certificate is offered. Free and Basic use is non-commercial; commercial use is limited to Standard and Pro plans. Confirm your plan qualifies and save the certificate and terms for the track.
CreateMusicAI Tracks created under a paid plan are described as having a commercial license for YouTube, Spotify, TikTok, ads, and client projects. Annual subscribers can download a license certificate. Confirm the paid-plan terms and whether your use fits the listed license.
OpenMusic AI The service says each generated song is designed for commercial use and comes with a license. Review the license and plan terms for the intended use.
Tunee Paid subscribers are described as having full commercial rights; free users may use music for personal projects with attribution. The service says AI copyright law is evolving and it cannot guarantee copyright protection. Confirm your plan’s terms and include attribution for free-plan use.
Sunp Commercial usage is described as available on paid plans; paid plans are the stated route for commercial publishing and certificate access. Review the current License Agreement and keep the certificate for the project.

A Galaxy Workflow For Keeping A Clear Rights Record

  1. Start with material you can use. Write original lyrics and prompts. If you upload audio, use only material you have permission to use, and avoid requesting a recognizable artist imitation without authorization.
  2. Choose a service and plan for the actual use. Decide whether the track is personal, monetized, client work, or intended for distribution. Read the vendor’s current terms for that use before generating; do not infer a license from a free trial or a general commercial-use claim.
  3. Keep the creation trail. Save your prompts, human-written lyrics or musical elements, edits, exported files, and the plan and license terms that applied. If you use a license certificate, store it with the project.
  4. Prepare platform disclosures. When publishing realistic synthetic audio or performance that could be mistaken for a real person, check and apply the platform’s disclosure controls. For copyright registration of a work with more than minimal AI-generated content, disclose it and describe your human-authored contribution.
  5. Review repeat uploads before publishing. Avoid publishing large batches of near-identical, template-based tracks as if they were distinct works. YouTube’s stated inauthentic-content policy addresses mass-produced and repetitive uploads.

Where Product Claims And Rights Remain Limited

A vendor’s commercial license statement and copyright protection are separate questions: commercial permission does not establish that an entirely AI-generated track is copyrightable under the U.S. Copyright Office’s stated position. Likewise, the services’ summaries do not establish every rule for samples, covers, voice cloning, territory, client transfer, or a particular distribution platform. Check the current vendor terms and destination-platform rules for those specifics before release.

Spotify announced support for DDEX AI disclosures in credits and an AI Persona badge to label artist identities that may be AI-generated. Those measures make disclosure increasingly relevant to distribution, but check your distributor’s current submission requirements for how to provide it.
