For AI retrowave music, start with Loudly if you want a generator that explicitly lists synthwave and offers controls for shaping tracks. AI Game Music Generator is a closer fit for retro game cues, while AI Makes Song is useful for exploring synthwave and retro prompt ideas. None of the available product details confirms a dedicated “retrowave” mode, so describe the sound you want and check each service’s site for current options and Galaxy compatibility.

What Makes A Retrowave Track Work
Retrowave typically draws on the sound and mood associated with vintage electronic music: prominent synthesizers, steady drum-machine patterns, a strong melodic hook, and an atmospheric or cinematic feel. A useful prompt describes those audible choices and the track’s purpose rather than relying on the label “retrowave” alone. These are creative directions, not confirmed presets or guaranteed outputs from the services below.

On a Samsung Galaxy phone, you can draft a prompt in Notes or another text app, then enter it on the generator’s site if it works in your browser. The available product details establish web access for Loudly; they do not establish Galaxy app or browser support for the other services. Check the vendor’s site for device compatibility and export steps.
Ranked Picks
1. Loudly: Best Overall For Shaping Synthwave Tracks
Loudly is the strongest all-around match in this group because synthwave appears among its listed genres, and its generator offers structured controls. It also supports generating full songs with vocals, lyrics, and structured controls, plus remixing uploaded audio and exporting separated stems. For a retrowave idea, try a prompt such as: “Instrumental synthwave night drive, pulsing analog-style bass, gated electronic drums, bright arpeggiated lead, cinematic 1980s mood, gradual build, no vocals.” Treat that as a description to try, not a promise of a particular sound.

Loudly has a Free plan, with generated tracks limited to 30 seconds. Its product page states that a commercial license is included, while paid licensing rights depend on plan terms; review the terms for the plan you use. The service also offers WAV, MP3, stems, and samples, along with mastering, effects, and distribution tools. Its toolkit is web-based rather than native desktop software.
2. AI Game Music Generator: Best For Retro Game Cues
This option has a direct connection to retro game music: its site describes retro chiptunes, and it shows a synthwave track labeled 2:58. It says its model generates tracks in seconds, with vocals or instrumentals. That evidence makes it worth trying for a retro game cue, but does not establish that every output will have a retrowave sound or that you can set specific instruments or track length.
