Overview

Recruitly is recruiting software for hiring teams and recruitment agencies that want candidate records, job management and core hiring workflows in one place. It is a good fit for a solo recruiter who needs more than job listings alone, though small teams should pay close attention to its user and quota ceilings.

The free plan makes it possible to start without a subscription, and paid tiers expand capacity in clear steps. The main trade-off is that jobs, contacts, candidates, API calls and outreach campaigns each have separate limits.

Key features

Recruitly includes a career site, resume parsing, interview scheduling, workflow automation and job-board distribution. Together, those tools cover several stages of recruiting, making the product a stronger fit for teams seeking a connected workflow than for buyers who only need a place to post vacancies.

Capacity depends on the plan. Free includes 200 contacts, 1,000 candidates, five jobs and two outreach campaigns; Solo raises those allowances to 5,000 contacts, 10,000 candidates, 25 jobs and 10 campaigns. Professional allows 25,000 contacts, 50,000 candidates, 100 jobs and 50 campaigns, while Enterprise removes the stated caps on those quantities. API usage follows the same progression: 100 calls per day on Free, 1,000 on Solo, 10,000 on Professional and unlimited on Enterprise. These separate ceilings matter: growing one part of a recruiting operation may require a plan change even if its other allowances remain ample.

Pricing

Recruitly uses a freemium model. The plans below are billed monthly; its published paid starting rate is $25/user/mo.

Free — 0.00 USD per free: Includes 200 contacts, 1,000 candidates, five jobs, up to five users, 100 API calls per day and two outreach campaigns. It is a capable starting point for a small operation, but the five-job cap may constrain active hiring.
Solo — 25.00 USD per month: Includes 5,000 contacts, 10,000 candidates, 25 jobs, one user, 1,000 API calls per day and 10 outreach campaigns. Its larger quotas suit a solo recruiter; the single-user ceiling makes it unsuitable for a team sharing access.
Professional — 80.00 USD per month: Includes 25,000 contacts, 50,000 candidates, 100 jobs, unlimited users, 10,000 API calls per day and 50 outreach campaigns. This is the clearest step up for a growing team, trading a higher monthly price for shared access and substantially more room.
Enterprise — 120.00 USD per month: Includes unlimited contacts, candidates, jobs, users, API calls and outreach campaigns. It fits operations that have outgrown fixed quotas, though those unlimited allowances may be unnecessary for smaller teams.

Check the user limit as well as the price: Free allows up to five users, Solo permits one, and Professional and Enterprise have unlimited users. The listed monthly plan prices and the published starting rate of $25/user/mo use different pricing wording, so buyers should confirm the applicable charge for their intended setup.

Platforms

Recruitly supports web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android. That range accommodates desktop users across major operating systems as well as mobile access.

Who it's for

Recruitly is best suited to solo recruiters or hiring teams that want job-board distribution and candidate workflows alongside a career site, and can match their expected volume to its tiered quotas. Teams that need multiple users should look beyond Solo; operations with substantial or unpredictable volume may find Enterprise's uncapped allowances more appropriate. Buyers seeking only a small number of active jobs may prefer a lower-cost alternative with a clearly stated job allowance.

Pros and cons

Pro: The career site, resume parsing, interview scheduling, workflow automation and job-board distribution cover a broad set of recruiting needs in one product.
Pro: Free includes five jobs and up to five users, giving a small operation room to begin without a subscription.
Pro: Professional and Enterprise remove the seat ceiling, and Enterprise removes the stated caps on key quotas.
Con: Solo is limited to one user, so a team cannot share that plan even though its job and candidate allowances are much larger than Free.
Con: Lower tiers impose separate contact, candidate, job, API and campaign limits, making it important to track more than one measure of growth.

Alternatives

For a wider comparison, browse Applicant Tracking Systems, Recruitment Agency Software or Recruiting CRM Software.

Zoho Recruit is worth considering if a one-active-job free plan is enough; its Standard and Enterprise tiers allow 10 and 20 active jobs per recruiter license, respectively.
Jobsoid suits a startup that can work within one job posting and one user account: its free Beginner plan includes unlimited candidates and Android and iOS apps.
Oorwin offers a free tier with five jobs, 100 candidates, 10 interviews, five accounts and 10 contacts, which may fit a smaller operation whose needs align with those caps.
Workable is an alternative for buyers considering plans priced at $299.00 USD per month for Standard or $599.00 USD per month for Premier; both include unlimited active jobs for 1–20 employees.
Avature is another paid recruiting option.
Manatal may suit buyers seeking a paid plan with 15 jobs per account, 10,000 candidates and unlimited hiring managers on Professional, priced at $15.00 USD per month when billed annually.
Oracle Recruiting is a paid alternative with a published price of $8.00 USD per month; its global price list calls for a 500 hosted-employee minimum and a standard three-year subscription.
Teamtailor is another paid recruiting option.

Verdict

Choose Recruitly if you want a broad set of recruiting workflows, a free starting tier and a path to unlimited users and quotas as your operation grows. Its key drawback is the need to balance several independent caps, while Solo's one-user limit rules it out for teams. If shared access matters from the outset or your recruiting volume is likely to exceed the lower-tier limits, compare Professional and Enterprise against alternatives before committing.
