Overview

FlexiQuiz supports the full assessment workflow: create quizzes, tests, exams, and other learning activities, share them with learners, and review results. Questions can be created from scratch, imported through an Excel template, or generated with AI. That flexibility is useful for teams with an existing question bank or a need to produce assessments in different ways.

Its 11 question types cover formats such as multiple choice, file upload, essay, short answer, hotspot, and matching text. The range supports more than routine knowledge checks, though free users get only eight types and each quiz is limited to 10 questions.

Key features

Assessment and scoring

Automatic scoring, manual grading, timers, randomized questions, and branching logic give quiz creators control over how an assessment runs. Scoring can award whole-question or weighted answer-option points, partial credit, or negative points, and can also leave questions unscored. A question bank supports reuse. Tab-switch detection and full-screen options add deterrents for formal tests, but should not be mistaken for a guarantee against cheating.

Customizable certificates provide a completion record. For straightforward learning checks, these controls may be more than necessary; they become more useful when assessments need varied scoring or exam-like structure.

Learner access and reporting

Respondent portals give learners a place to reach assigned content, while groups organize courses and classes. Quizzes can be distributed through links, email invitations, portals, access codes, QR codes, website embeds, or print. This range suits both organized programs and more open distribution.

Results can be examined at quiz, participant, response, group, or question level, with instant results and PDF or spreadsheet exports. That makes FlexiQuiz more compelling for instructors and trainers who need to see patterns across learners, rather than simply collect answers.

Integrations and security

Integration options include SMTP, APIs and webhooks, e-commerce, single sign-on, and HTML embedding. Quiz sales pages connect to Stripe, which is also listed as a paid-plan payment integration. FlexiQuiz says data is hosted on AWS in the USA, encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest with AES-256, including backups. Two-factor authentication can be enabled for administrators, trainers, and respondents.

Pricing

The free plan costs $0.00 per free and includes unlimited quizzes, up to 10 questions per quiz, 20 responses per quiz and 20 responses per month, five respondent portals, and 1 GB of storage. Those caps make it suitable for small trials or occasional use, not a busy class or recurring program.

Essentials costs $17.00 USD per month, billed $17 per month or $204 yearly. It raises the allowance to 500 responses per month, provides one administrator, unlimited questions and quizzes, and 2 GB storage. It is the entry point for an individual creator who has outgrown the free response cap; the single-administrator limit makes it less suitable for shared management.

Premium costs $25.00 USD per month, billed $25 per month or $300 yearly. It allows 2,000 responses per month, two administrators or trainers, 10 GB storage, and up to 800 respondent portals. The higher quota and shared administration make it a better fit for a growing training or education program.

Enterprise costs $60.00 USD per month, billed $60 per month or $720 yearly. It includes 25,000 responses per month, 15 administrators or trainers, 100 GB storage, APIs and webhooks, single sign-on, and 24/7 priority support. Larger organizations needing those integrations, user capacity, and support have the clearest reason to pay for this tier. All plans list a help centre and 24/7 email support.

Platforms

FlexiQuiz supports Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, web, and API access, giving organizations options across mobile, desktop, and browser-based environments.

Who it's for

Educators, trainers, and organizations are the natural audience, including healthcare and government teams, small and medium-sized businesses, nonprofits, and large enterprises. The broad question and reporting tools suit structured learning and assessment; individuals with only occasional, short quizzes may find the free plan adequate, while higher-volume use requires a paid tier.

Pros and cons

Pros: Questions can be created manually, imported, or AI-generated, supporting different workflows.
Pros: Multiple scoring modes, branching, and varied question types accommodate assessments beyond simple multiple-choice quizzes.
Pros: Group and participant reporting plus export options help instructors and trainers act on results.
Cons: The free plan allows only 10 questions per quiz and 20 responses per month, limiting sustained or larger-scale use.
Cons: Essentials has one administrator, so teams needing shared management must pay for a higher plan.

Verdict

Choose FlexiQuiz if you need flexible assessment creation, organized learner access, and reporting across groups and individuals. Its scoring and distribution options make it a strong fit for educators and training teams, but the free plan is too constrained for regular larger quizzes. Look elsewhere if generous free response capacity is the priority.
