Overview

Rentberry connects renters with landlords and property professionals through a platform for finding homes and managing rental workflows. Renters can search listings across more than 90 countries, while landlords can handle listings, screening requests, lease signing, rent collection, and maintenance. The breadth is useful for keeping common rental tasks together, though payment collection and some screening and promotion services carry separate charges.

Key features

Search and listing

Renters can search listings and request property tours. Landlords can post properties for free, add custom amenities, and use an AI generator to draft a description from listing details. Listings expire after 30 days, so landlords must renew them to keep them active. There is no stated property-count cap, but businesses with more than 100 properties are directed to contact Rentberry, and bulk uploads for more than 10 properties require contacting customer service.

For US residents, paid promotion and syndication distributes listings to major rental platforms. Network channel coverage, inquiry management, and showing scheduling make Rentberry relevant to landlords seeking more than a basic listing, but the $49.99 per month charge is a recurring cost on top of the free listing option.

Applications and tenancy tasks

Rentberry brings applications, tour scheduling, rent negotiation, e-signing, payments, and maintenance requests into one workflow. Free tenant accounts include negotiation, tour requests, maintenance requests, eSign, and cloud storage; the free landlord plan includes listing, maintenance tracking, and US-only tenant screening requests. This range can reduce the need to coordinate separate tools, although e-sign and rent collection also appear as one-time paid services for landlords.

Screening reports are powered by TransUnion and are available in the US. Rentberry says landlords need a Stripe account to collect rent, and Stripe charges a payout fee based on the bank account's country. Rental documents use Dropbox Sign for legally binding e-signing. Rentberry states that customer support is available 24/7. Its privacy policy says transmissions are encrypted using SSL while acknowledging that no electronic storage or internet transmission method is completely secure.

Pricing

Rentberry uses a freemium model, with no free trial. The free plans are practical starting points, but they do not make every service free.

Tenants — Free: 0.00 USD per free. Includes rent negotiation, 24/7 customer support, maintenance requests, property tour requests, eSign, and cloud data storage.
Landlords — Free: 0.00 USD per free. Includes property listing, 24/7 customer support, maintenance request tracking, and tenant screening requests in the US. Listings expire after 30 days.
Application fee: 9.99 USD per once for a tenant application fee.
Tenant insurance: 11.00 USD per month, billed from $11/mo.
eSign and cloud data storage: 19.99 USD per once for a landlord service.
Rent collection: 19.99 USD per once for a landlord service; Stripe payout fees may also apply, depending on the bank account's country.
Property agent/broker fee: 24.99 USD per month, billed $24.99/mo.
Credit and background check: 39.99 USD per once for both reports, US only.
Property promotion and syndication: 49.99 USD per month, billed $49.99/mo, for a promoted listing and partner website syndication.

The free plans are the sensible choice for tenants and individual landlords who need the core workflow and can work within its limits. Landlords seeking broader listing reach should budget for the monthly promotion charge; agents and brokers should weigh their monthly fee against their needs. One-time service charges mean that landlords using e-signing or rent collection should compare the paid services with what their workflow requires.

Platforms

Rentberry is available on Android, iOS, and the web. Its mobile apps include custom-offer negotiations, maintenance requests, and e-signing, making them relevant to tenants and landlords handling those tasks away from a computer.

Who it's for

Rentberry fits tenants who want to search, request tours, negotiate, and manage maintenance in one platform, as well as individual landlords who need free listings and basic tenancy tools. Property managers, agents, and brokers can use its workflow and paid promotion, but landlords managing bulk uploads or seeking persistent listing visibility should account for the 30-day expiry and customer-service steps.

Pros and cons

Pro: Free tenant and landlord plans include meaningful workflow tools, including negotiation, tour requests, maintenance handling, and e-signing.

Verdict

Rentberry is a strong fit for tenants and landlords who want one place for search, applications, and ongoing rental tasks, especially when the free plans cover their needs. Landlords who need listings to stay active or want partner-site exposure should look elsewhere if the recurring promotion cost and 30-day listing cycle do not suit their operation.
