Overview

Teamup is a shared calendar for teams organizing schedules, resources, and day-to-day operations. It is best suited to groups that need multiple calendars and different access levels, rather than people looking for a personal planner. Its appeal is flexible coordination; its limits include one-way calendar sync and no private-server hosting.

Key features

Flexible scheduling and event records

Twelve calendar views, including year and table views, give teams several ways to scan a schedule, while time blocking supports planning work into calendar slots. Events can carry custom fields, images, and attachments, and individual events can be shared as standalone pages. That combination is useful for bookings and operational schedules where an event needs more context than a title and time. Custom fields are tightly capped on the entry plans: Free and Plus allow one, while Pro raises the allowance to ten.

Access and integrations

Nine permission levels help administrators tailor access, and calendar links can be shared with people who do not have user accounts. This suits teams coordinating with outside participants, provided administrators choose appropriate permissions for each audience. Teamup lists an API, iCalendar feeds, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Trello, and Zapier as integrations. Calendar sync is one-way, so it is a poor fit for teams that require two-way synchronization. Paid tiers specify inbound iCalendar refresh intervals, from hourly on Pro to every five minutes on Enterprise.

Security and hosting

Teamup says it is ISO/IEC 27001 certified and compliant with the EU GDPR, and describes TLS connections using 128-bit AES encryption along with AES encryption for stored data and backups. Production services run on AWS, with user content redundantly stored in Oregon and Ireland. Private-server hosting is unavailable, and Teamup does not publish its SOC reports; organizations with those requirements should factor that into procurement.

Pricing

Teamup has a free plan and a 3-day trial. Its paid calendar tiers are billed yearly at the displayed monthly rates, with higher monthly-billed prices also given for Plus through Enterprise. Email support is included with the listed plans; Enterprise adds call-back support.

Plan	Price and terms	What it includes
Free	0.00 USD per free	5 sub-calendars, 5 users, 1 custom field, and 1 year of historical data. A useful no-cost starting point for a small group, but the user and calendar caps leave little room to grow.
Plus	12.00 USD per month billed yearly; $15 billed monthly	12 sub-calendars, 12 users, 1 custom field, 2GB storage, Daily Agenda, and 5-year historical data. It expands capacity and retention, but does not increase the custom-field allowance.
Pro	30.00 USD per month billed yearly; $35 billed monthly	25 sub-calendars, 25 users, 10 custom fields, 100GB storage, and 1-hour inbound iCal feed sync. The jump is most relevant to teams needing richer event records or substantial storage.
Business	70.00 USD per month billed yearly; $85 billed monthly	70 sub-calendars, 50 users, 20 custom fields, 400GB storage, 15-minute inbound iCal feed sync, and 10-year historical data. It suits larger operations that need more calendars and faster feed updates.
Enterprise	125.00 USD per month billed yearly; $160 billed monthly	150 sub-calendars, 100 users, 50 custom fields, 1000GB storage, 5-minute inbound iCal feed sync, 15-year historical data, and call-back support. Its capacity and support target larger teams, but the per-calendar user ceiling remains 100.
Organization Accounts	Starts at US$1,200 per year, scaling incrementally by number of users	SSO, scalable user management, and central administration and consolidated billing for multiple master calendars. This is the relevant option for organizations managing several calendars centrally.

Platforms

Teamup is available on web, iOS, and Android, and also lists an API. Mobile apps give team members access beyond the desktop browser, while the API is relevant to organizations connecting scheduling data with their own systems.

Who it's for

Teamup fits businesses and teams coordinating shared schedules, resources, and operations, from room bookings to field-crew job schedules. Its access controls and separate sub-calendars make it a stronger match for group coordination than for personal time management. Small groups can begin on Free, while teams that need more users, storage, event fields, or feed refresh speed can move up tiers. It is less suitable where two-way sync or private-server hosting is essential.

Pros and cons

Pros: Nine permission levels and account-free link sharing give administrators options for coordinating with both internal and external participants.
Pros: Events support custom fields, images, and attachments, with standalone event pages for sharing specific activities.
Pros: The plan ladder scales from five users on Free to 100 on Enterprise, with larger storage and historical-data allowances at higher tiers.
Cons: Free is capped at five users and five sub-calendars, and Plus still permits only one custom field.
Cons: Sync is one-way, limiting its fit for teams that expect updates to move both directions between calendars.
Cons: Private-server hosting is unavailable, which rules it out for organizations that require self-hosting.

Alternatives

Teams specifically comparing studio and wellness software can also consider WellnessLiving, which has a free plan and a Starter plan at 62.00 USD per month billed annually for one staff member, classes and appointments booking, and client and staff apps. Zenamu is another freemium option, with a free tier capped at 30 orders per month and one teacher account and an Expert plan for 500 orders per month. For other options, see Yoga Studio Software, Personal Trainer Scheduling Software, and Calendar apps. Other alternatives include fitDEGREE, Glofox, Zen Planner, Arketa, Pike13, and Walla.

Verdict

Choose Teamup if your team needs shared schedules, differentiated access, and detailed event records without requiring every participant to hold an account. Its scalable calendar and storage limits make it practical for groups that outgrow a basic shared calendar. Look elsewhere if two-way synchronization or private hosting is non-negotiable, and check the user, sub-calendar, and custom-field ceilings before committing to a tier.
