Overview

Avoma is meeting software that captures conversations through a bot and produces transcripts, summaries, and action items. It suits teams that want meeting records shared across paid and view-only seats; its main trade-off is that the paid plans are billed annually and cap paid seats.

Key features

Bot-based capture: Avoma can join meetings on Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, and GoToMeeting. That broad platform coverage is useful for teams with mixed meeting tools, though capture depends on a bot rather than a non-bot workflow.
Transcripts and follow-up: Transcription covers 62 languages, and the product also creates summaries and action items. These features make it a practical record for teams that need both conversation text and a concise follow-up; the facts do not establish other analysis capabilities.
Calendar integrations: Calendar integrations are supported, helping place the meeting workflow alongside scheduling.

Pricing

Avoma uses a freemium model, with a 14-day trial and paid tiers billed annually. The free view-only user tier costs $0.00 USD per free and allows users to watch recordings, view notes and transcripts, comment, and share. It is useful for stakeholders who need to review meetings but do not need a paid seat.

Startup: $19.00 USD per month, billed annually, with up to 25 paid seats and unlimited free view-only seats. This is the lowest-cost paid option and fits smaller teams that need active paid users while sharing records broadly.
Organization: $29.00 USD per month, billed annually, with up to 100 paid seats and unlimited free view-only seats. The higher ceiling suits larger teams, but costs more per month than Startup.
Enterprise: $39.00 USD per month, billed annually only, with a minimum of 10 paid seats and free viewers. The minimum makes it a poor fit for small groups, while teams that meet it can use the higher tier without a stated paid-seat ceiling.

The lower-cost view-only tier is for reviewing and sharing records, not replacing paid seats. The published plan facts do not distinguish the paid tiers by feature set, so the clearest pricing difference is their seat capacity and cost.

Platforms

Avoma is available on web, iOS, and Android. Its meeting capture supports Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, and GoToMeeting, and it offers calendar integrations.

Who it's for

Avoma is best suited to teams that need bot-captured meetings, transcripts across many languages, and summaries or action items, especially when recordings and notes should be shared with people who do not need paid seats. It is less compelling for a small team that requires paid access for everyone under Enterprise, or for buyers who need monthly billing rather than annual commitments.

Pros and cons

Pro: 62-language transcription, summaries, and action items combine meeting records with follow-up in one workflow.
Pro: Unlimited free view-only seats let teams share recordings, notes, and transcripts without assigning everyone a paid seat.
Con: Paid tiers are billed annually, limiting flexibility for teams that want month-to-month pricing.
Con: Enterprise requires at least 10 paid seats, which can make it unsuitable for smaller teams.
