Overview

Members can check in with QR or barcode passes, a shared link, a web kiosk, or manual entry, and do not need to install an app. That range suits both self-service arrivals and a staffed desk. The trade-off is consequential: check-ins require an internet connection, so venues with unreliable connectivity should look elsewhere.

The service runs in a browser, with an optional kiosk app for iPad and Android tablets. Its stated safeguards include TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, and staff support access only with customer permission. Primary data storage is in US East (Virginia); EU customer transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses. Attenditai says it cannot claim certifications it does not hold.

Key features

Recurring rosters and imports

Class sheets can be set by weekday and roll forward automatically, cutting repeated setup for stable timetables. Excel or CSV imports can include names, photos, and membership types, which makes existing member lists easier to bring into the workflow.

Attendance reporting and locations

Reports export to Excel or PDF and show trends by class, instructor, and time slot. Separate check-ins and per-location reporting in one dashboard make the tool more useful to operators running multiple studios. Reporting is unavailable on Free, so even a small organization that needs those exports must pay.

Pricing

Attenditai offers a free plan, a 30-day trial, and paid plans billed annually. The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free, billed forever, and supports up to 50 attendees, unlimited sheets, one extra team member, QR/barcode, public QR link and Web Kiosk check-in, limited AI credits, and 200 emails per day. It has no reports, role-based access control (RBAC), automations, or custom branding. It suits a small group that can work within the cap and does not need reporting.

Starter costs 99.00 USD per year, billed annually. It raises capacity to 500 attendees and five team members, adds reports and AI reporting credits, and allows 2,000 emails per day; it still lacks RBAC, automations, and custom branding. This is the practical step up for a single location that has outgrown Free and needs attendance reports.

Business costs 149.00 USD per year, billed annually. It covers up to 1,000 attendees and 15 team members, with reports, AI reporting credits, a 4,000-email daily limit, RBAC, and automations, but no custom branding. It better suits growing operations that need access controls or workflow automation. Custom costs 199.00 USD per year, billed annually, for 2,000+ attendees and 15+ team members, with custom daily email limits, custom reports, RBAC, automations, and custom branding. It is the fit for larger organizations that need those higher-capacity or customization options.

All four plans include unlimited sheets and QR/barcode, public QR link, and Web Kiosk check-in. The free plan's attendee and email caps and the paid plans' annual billing are the key constraints to weigh.

Platforms

Attenditai is available on Android, iOS, and the web. The optional kiosk app runs on iPad and Android tablets. Google OAuth 2.0 sign-in is listed as a security option.

Who it's for

Gyms, Pilates and yoga studios, martial arts schools, sports clubs, and recreation centers with recurring sessions are the clearest fit. Multi-location operators can use one dashboard for separate check-ins and reporting. It is a weaker choice for venues that need offline check-in, or organizations seeking a broader gym-management system.

Pros and cons

Pros: Multiple check-in methods, including app-free attendee access, accommodate different arrival workflows.
Pros: Recurring weekday rosters and spreadsheet imports reduce repeated setup for established class schedules.
Pros: Exportable reports and per-location views support attendance analysis across classes and sites.
Cons: Internet access is required to record check-ins, limiting use at poorly connected venues.
Cons: Free is capped at 50 attendees and omits reports; Starter still lacks RBAC and automations.
Cons: Paid plans are billed annually, and custom branding is reserved for Custom.

Verdict

Attenditai is a sound choice for fitness organizations that need recurring rosters, app-free check-in options, and attendance reporting across classes or locations. Its clearest advantage is keeping those attendance workflows together; look elsewhere if check-ins must work offline, or if a free plan needs to serve more than 50 attendees.
