Overview

MyWebAR is a no-code platform for making augmented-reality experiences that people open in a browser. It best suits creators and teams that want to build interactive AR without requiring viewers to install an app. Its broad tracking options and browser delivery are compelling; the free plan’s tight caps and non-commercial restriction make it a starting point, not a business tier.

Made by DEVAR Entertainment LLC, headquartered in Marlton, New Jersey, MyWebAR pairs a visual editor with generative tools, embedding, and performance reporting. Its usefulness depends on the project’s reach and purpose: the Creator plan permits only 100 views a year across five projects, while commercial experiences require a paid plan.

Key features

Visual creation: A drag-and-drop editor brings images, video, 3D models, and other assets together, with interactive actions and publishing in the same workflow. That suits creators who prefer assembling projects visually over building an AR experience from scratch.
Several tracking modes: Flat-image, curved-image, world, face, and object tracking cover different kinds of AR experiences. The range is a strength for varied projects, though 3D object and spatial tracking are reserved for Ultimate Plus.
Generative tools: Image, texture, and 3D-model generation can help creators produce project assets within the platform.
Browser delivery and embedding: Experiences run in browsers on iOS, Android, ChromeOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux without an app installation. They can also be embedded in webpages or native iOS and Android apps, giving teams more than one way to present a project.
Reporting and connections: Performance reporting includes views and audience geography. Listed integrations and extensions include Unity, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
Security and support: DEVAR’s technical and organizational measures require two-factor and/or federated authentication for access to systems containing developer and end-user data, and use strong encryption such as HTTPS or TLS for communications. Support ranges from a Learning Center on Creator to email on Pro, priority email and live chat on several paid plans, and a personal manager on Enterprise.

Pricing

MyWebAR is freemium, with a 14-day trial and paid plans from $25/mo (annual). The annual option is billed yearly; the monthly prices below are billed monthly.

Creator — 0.00 USD per free: 100 views per year, 100 MB of storage, five projects, and non-commercial use. It is a no-cost way to learn the workflow or make a small personal project, but the annual view cap is restrictive and the free tier cannot serve commercial work.
Pro — 39.00 USD per month, or USD 25/month billed yearly: 120,000 views per year, 1 GB storage, up to 50 AR experiences, and a custom domain. This is the practical step up for commercial projects with a defined audience and volume; the yearly rate lowers the monthly price but commits billing annually.
Ultimate — 399.00 USD per month, or USD 250/month billed yearly: Unlimited experiences, 5 GB storage, external asset storage for unlimited views, and white-label experiences. It is aimed at larger publishing needs, but its price is a substantial jump from Pro.
Phygital Marketing — 1199.00 USD per month, or USD 959/month billed yearly: Audience insights, ad retargeting, and lookalike audiences make this the marketing-focused option for teams seeking audience activation.
Ultimate Plus — 2499.00 USD per month, or USD 1999/month billed yearly: Adds 3D object tracking, spatial tracking, and 10 GB storage. It fits projects that specifically need those advanced tracking modes; the price is difficult to justify for simpler browser AR.
Enterprise — custom pricing: Personalized plans, exclusive features, a personal manager, technology licensing, and AR development services are intended for organizations needing a tailored arrangement.

Platforms

The platform lists Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, web, and Windows. Published experiences can run in browsers across those operating systems, as well as ChromeOS, without an app installation. Webpage and native iOS or Android app embedding provide additional delivery routes.

Who it's for

MyWebAR is a strong fit for creators, agencies, and marketing teams that want a visual way to produce browser-based AR, particularly when image, face, or world tracking and broad browser reach matter. Pro is the more suitable entry for commercial use; teams with higher view needs, white-label requirements, audience-retargeting goals, or advanced spatial tracking should weigh the higher tiers. It is a poor fit for commercial projects that need to stay free, or for anyone whose project cannot live within the Creator plan’s 100 annual views and five-project ceiling.

Pros and cons

Pros

App-free audience access: Browser delivery across major desktop and mobile systems removes the need for viewers to install an app.
Broad creative range: Five listed tracking types, interactive editing, and generated project assets support more than a single AR format.
Clear upgrade path: Plans progress from a capped non-commercial tier to high-volume, white-label, marketing, and advanced-tracking options.

Cons

Free use is sharply constrained: Five projects, 100 MB, and 100 annual views limit sustained publishing, and commercial use is excluded.
Advanced capabilities cost more: 3D object and spatial tracking sit in the $2499.00 USD per month Ultimate Plus tier.
Top plans are a major investment: Marketing features start at $1199.00 USD per month, making those tiers ill-suited to small or occasional projects.

Alternatives

MAKAR is worth considering for a free starting tier with two projects, 10 MB of cloud storage, and two publications, but its free plan excludes WebAR and WebVR.

TotalAR may suit teams needing TAR codes and scan quotas: its free Basic plan includes five codes and 100 scans per month, while Pro is 90.00 USD per month.

BlippBuilder offers a free Starter tier for creating, testing, and exploring projects, but publishing requires a paid plan.

Elysium is a free option for users whose work fits its personal plan, with one private world, unlimited private scenes, three public scenes, and 10 GB of asset storage.

WorldCAST is a lower-cost alternative for creators prioritizing unlimited monthly views and personal or commercial use; its free Creator tier also includes basic analytics.

Creo is another option for readers comparing AR creation software.

TeamViewer Frontline is an enterprise AR option with pricing by consultation.

FME Flow offers client-tailored pricing and unlimited web users.

Verdict

Choose MyWebAR if you want a visual workflow for browser-delivered AR, with multiple tracking modes and a clear route from experimentation to commercial publishing. Its strongest case is reaching viewers across browsers without an installation; its main drawback is the gap between the free tier’s tight, non-commercial limits and the cost of advanced paid plans. For modest personal projects it is approachable, but commercial teams should match their expected reach and tracking needs to a paid tier before committing.
