Overview

Qashier is a Malaysian POS and loyalty platform that adds online salon bookings, payments and staff reporting. It best suits salons and spas that want bookings and customer rewards tied to sales. Lite makes it possible to start free, but its operating limits and excluded payments make it a narrow fit.

Key features

Bookings and salon operations

Qashier Bookings accepts appointments at any hour, confirms them instantly and supports package redemption. Its calendar syncs with the POS, linking appointments to the sales workflow. Staff performance and commissions tracking, alongside sales and customer-feedback reports, give owners useful oversight; however, staff management is excluded from Lite, so that plan does not deliver the full operating picture.

Payments and loyalty

The Malaysian terminal accepts major credit and debit cards, DuitNow QR, Touch ’n Go, GrabPay, Boost, mobile payments and e-wallets. Treats ties loyalty points to payments and supports vouchers, promotions and personalised messages. That mix is relevant for businesses seeking repeat visits, but Lite excludes QashierPay card payments and add-on tools, limiting its usefulness as a complete checkout and loyalty setup.

Integrations, security and support

Growth includes Xero, Shopify and WooCommerce integrations. Qashier also describes API connections for payments, POS data and Treats loyalty, consolidating transaction data into one dashboard. Qashier says it complies with PCI DSS 3.2 as a Level 1 Service Provider, separates sensitive card data from the rest of its infrastructure, and follows Malaysia’s PDPA and other personal data protection laws in its markets. Lite support is email-only; Essential and Growth include live chat, phone and WhatsApp, a meaningful upgrade for businesses that need more direct help.

Pricing

Lite costs 0.00 MYR per free. It allows up to 25 products and reports up to 1 year, but monthly sales and staff limits apply; it also excludes card payments, staff management and add-on tools. Email is the only included support channel. This is best for a small operation assessing the basic setup, not a salon relying on Qashier for unrestricted sales or staffing.

Essential costs 5.00 USD per month (billed RM5/day; prices exclude SST). It supports up to 9 stores, 1,000 products, unlimited staff and CRM up to 500 customers. It suits a growing salon that needs more catalogue capacity and staff tracking, while the customer cap may constrain a larger client base.

Growth costs 8.00 USD per month (billed RM8/day; prices exclude SST). It supports 10+ stores, unlimited products and CRM, staff commissions, and includes Essential features. This is the fit for multi-location operators or businesses that need commission tracking and unrestricted catalogue and CRM capacity. Both paid prices exclude SST; Lite’s monthly sales and staff limits are not quantified.

Platforms

Qashier supports Android, iOS, web and API access. QashierHQ works in a browser and on Android, while the Qashier HQ mobile app is available for iPhone and Android.

Who it's for

Qashier is aimed at Malaysian SMEs, including salons, spas and wellness businesses, that want appointments, POS sales, payments and loyalty connected. It is less suitable for an operator who needs the free plan to handle card payments, staff management or uncapped monthly activity.

Pros and cons

Pro: Bookings, package redemption and a POS-synced team calendar connect appointment work with transactions.
Pro: Treats combines payment-linked points with vouchers, promotions and personalised messages for customer retention.
Pro: Essential and Growth include unlimited staff and live chat, phone and WhatsApp support.
Con: Lite caps the catalogue at 25 products, imposes monthly sales and staff limits, and excludes card payments and staff management.
Con: CRM is capped at 500 customers on Essential; unlimited CRM requires Growth.
Con: Paid plan prices exclude SST, so the stated monthly prices are not the full tax-inclusive cost.

Verdict

Qashier is a strong fit for Malaysian salons and spas that want bookings, checkout, staff oversight and loyalty in one system, particularly once they need the higher limits and support of a paid plan. Choose Growth for multi-store scale, unlimited CRM or commissions; look elsewhere if you need card payments or staff management without leaving a free tier.
