Xerox Workplace Suite
What it is
Xerox Workplace Suite is an on-premises, server-based print management system for organizations. It provides mobile printing, authentication, print controls, content security checks, accounting, and usage reporting from a privately deployed server. People can send jobs from Windows, ChromeOS, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android devices; pull-printing keeps jobs queued until release. Authentication options include cards, NFC, the Xerox Print Portal app, QR codes, PINs, or credentials, depending on configuration. Printers can provide single sign-on to supported services, including cloud connector apps. Administrators can apply print rules, track organization-wide activity, and use consolidated fleet reporting with Network Accounting integration. A licensed multifunction printer can scan copied, printed, or scanned documents for administrator-defined terms and alert an administrator when matched. Xerox says the suite works with nearly all Xerox and other-brand devices using Global Print Driver technology, with enhanced capability on VersaLink, AltaLink, and ConnectKey devices. Licensing is modular by feature rather than device count, and Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD, and Okta connections are listed.
