Workato Agent Studio
Workato Agent Studio · Palo Alto, California, United States · founded 2013
What it is
Workato Agent Studio is a web-based tool for building and configuring AI agents called Genies. Users can create and manage Genies without code, connect them to organizational systems, and set them up to carry out multi-step actions across applications. Genies use knowledge bases for company-specific information and skills for interacting with applications and systems. Anthropic Claude is the default model; builders can switch to OpenAI GPT or connect their own LLM. Genies can use Slack, Microsoft Teams, Workato GO, or a custom interface, while the Headless API is limited to custom interfaces. Workato's connector library covers SaaS apps, databases, and ERPs, including Salesforce, Slack, Workday, ServiceNow, and Snowflake. Controls include access roles, secure authentication, audit trails, active prompt attack detection and harmful-content filtering, plus configurable filters and denied topics. The Free plan includes 50,000 one-time credits. Pro costs $75 a month and includes 2,500 monthly credits. Agent Studio availability depends on specific customer pricing plans, and each prompt to a Genie counts as one action.
