What it is
Volley is a video messaging app for communication that does not require everyone to respond at the same time. People take turns sending video and audio messages, screen recordings, text, images, documents, files, and GIFs. Video, voice, and screen recording messages are automatically transcribed. Spaces organize conversations into channels and direct messages, with threads for replies. Users can react, forward volleys, mark them for follow-up, and share public links. Apps are available for Android, iOS, Mac, and PC, and Volley also works in a web browser. The free Basic plan includes unlimited DMs and connections, recordings up to three minutes, 30-day message history, Basic Spaces for up to 10 members, and a 50 MB file limit. Pro Account costs $10 a month and includes 10-minute recordings, one-year message history, and 250 MB uploads. Premium Space plans are priced by member capacity, from 10 to 500 members. Volley says it collects device and usage information, including IP address and in-app activity, for security, operations, analytics, and reporting.
