What it is
NTT Cloud Fax is a web-based fax service that handles inbound and outbound faxing through email. Users can send faxes as an attachment, in the email body, or both, and receive incoming faxes as PDF email attachments. The service includes a virtual fax number and international faxing, with five users listed. Its per-line service allows up to five outgoing fax email addresses by default. Email access must use Microsoft Exchange or Gmail, connected to the service through a configured SMTP connector. Outgoing fax formats include DOC, PDF, XLS, PPT, and TXT, and users receive notices of successful or failed delivery. The service does not work with analogue fax devices. Outbound faxes to destinations outside included coverage are charged per minute; prices are available on request. NTT lists 24-hour, 365-day English-language support for elements under its control and recommends TLS encryption for the SMTP connection.
