What it is
GatherTix is web-based event software from GatherTix Solutions Inc. for organizations running in-person events. It brings together ticket sales, attendee registration, invitations, payments, referrals, entry scanning, check-ins and reporting. Organizers can collect attendee details with customizable forms, then issue each ticket a unique QR code. A mobile-friendly gate scanner helps prevent double scans and synchronizes gate activity live. Members can receive individual referral links, with resulting sales attributed to them. Reports cover tickets, registrations, revenue and attendance, with CSV export and an audit trail for treasurers and boards. Interac e-Transfers go directly to the organizer, while Stripe handles card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments. GatherTix says it does not store card or banking details. Free events cost nothing event. Paid tickets or registrations cost C$1.50 per confirmed paid ticket or registration, with no monthly subscription required.
