DoodleNote
What it is
DoodleNote is a meeting capture and note-taking app for macOS, Windows, and the web. It records microphone and system audio from your side of a call without adding a bot. Recording, transcription, storage, search, and summaries can run locally without an account, and meeting audio remains on the computer rather than uploading through Sync. Notes can use a downloaded local model or your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key. Questions about one meeting or many can return answers with citations. Microsoft 365 and Google Calendar can prompt users when meetings begin. The free plan is free, billed forever, with unlimited meetings and recording, on-device transcription, calendar prompts, templates, folders, and search. Sync costs $10 a month per user and adds two-way device syncing, a web library, read-only links, team workspaces, and synced images. The project code is MIT-licensed; Windows downloads are beta.
