Overview

Vecteezy combines a stock marketplace with an online service and editor. Users can license stock photos, vector graphics and footage from artists; the service also offers illustration and editorial assets, templates and API access. Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Vecteezy states that it is SOC 2 compliant and supports enterprise security needs.

Fresh additions—thousands of professional-quality resources each day—help keep the catalog growing. That range is useful when projects call for different asset types, but the free tier's five monthly downloads puts a clear ceiling on sustained use.

Key features

Pro opens access to more than 60 million images, videos and other resources, with unlimited photo, vector and 4K video downloads. For people who need assets regularly, unlimited downloads remove the free tier's monthly bottleneck. Pro also grants full commercial rights without attribution, while free resources require attribution and come with ads and basic-feature limitations.

All Vecteezy content is described as royalty free once licensed. Pro content includes $10,000 in legal protection, and Pro subscribers receive priority support. A 30-day money-back guarantee applies only if fewer than three Pro files have been downloaded, so it offers a limited early exit rather than a flexible refund after substantial use.

The online editor keeps asset work within the web service, and API access can connect Vecteezy to other workflows. Teams can add seats, invite members, assign roles and restrict billing access to admins. Teams include priority support and dedicated account management; Enterprise adds Single Sign-On/SAML, API and DAM integrations, and legal protection of up to $1M per incident.

Pricing

Vecteezy is freemium, with a free plan and a 7-day trial. The free plan allows five downloads per month, but free resources require attribution, and ads and basic-feature limitations apply. That makes it a reasonable way to source occasional assets, not a dependable allowance for ongoing content production.

Pro subscriptions include unlimited photo, vector and 4K video downloads, full commercial rights, no attribution requirement, priority support and $10,000 legal protection. The 30-day money-back guarantee is conditional on downloading fewer than three Pro files. Subscriptions can be canceled anytime; cancellation stops automatic renewal.

Vecteezy offers several paid packages with custom pricing:

Image Only: five image downloads and one bundle.
Video Only: five video downloads and one bundle.
Unlimited All Access: unlimited downloads and one bundle.
1 Download Credit, 5 Download Credits and 10 Download Credits: one, five or ten downloads respectively.

These options distinguish limited image or video use from an unlimited-download subscription, but the credit and bundle packages are more suited to specific, finite needs. Teams and Enterprise have no free trial; demos are available. Team seats can be added, while Enterprise includes broader security, integration and legal-protection provisions. Enterprise pricing is custom pricing.

Platforms

Vecteezy is available on the web, with an online editor, and offers API access. The web service is a natural fit for browser-based asset sourcing; API access is the option for incorporating the marketplace into other workflows.

Who it's for

Vecteezy is a strong fit for designers, publishers and creative teams that need a wide mix of stock assets and want commercial rights without attribution. Pro is more appropriate than the free tier for regular asset production, while teams that need member roles, controlled billing and account support have dedicated team features.

It is less suitable for anyone whose needs fit within a small monthly download allowance, or who wants unlimited use without a subscription. The five-download free cap and attribution requirement can be restrictive, and custom pricing makes it harder to compare paid options before requesting details.

Pros and cons

Pro spans a large catalog: access to more than 60 million images, videos and other resources, with new additions each day.
Commercial use is straightforward on Pro: full commercial rights and no attribution requirement avoid the free tier's attribution condition.
Team administration goes beyond shared access: teams can assign roles and keep billing access with admins, with dedicated account management included.
The free allowance is narrow: five monthly downloads, ads and basic-feature limitations make it a poor fit for steady production.
Plan comparison takes extra work: paid packages have custom pricing, and the more limited download or credit options may not suit recurring needs.

Alternatives

For a broader look at catalog and software choices, compare Stock Vector Libraries, Stock Photo Websites, Vector Graphics Software and Graphic Design Software.

Ouch! by Icons8 is worth considering for free illustrations with attribution or a platform mix spanning mobile, desktop, web and extensions.
VectorStock may suit occasional vector buyers who prefer a pay-once-per-vector option with a Pro license and no ongoing commitment.
GetIllustrations may fit developers who want 1,500 API calls per month on a free account, with premium assets shown as watermarked previews.
Worldvectorlogo is a better match for logo-related API needs, with a free tier of 1,000 calls a month and a $29.00 per month Base plan offering 100,000 calls a month.
Blush is an option for people seeking thousands of free illustrations and unlimited downloads.
Clker may suit readers who want a free web-based option with no fees or charges stated.
DrawKit is worth a look for unlimited free content and favorite items without requiring an account on its Basic plan.
illlustrations may suit users seeking a free set of 120+ illustrations with SVG and PNG formats and commercial usage rights.

Verdict

Choose Vecteezy Pro if you regularly need varied stock assets, unlimited photo, vector and 4K video downloads, and commercial rights without attribution. Its breadth and team controls make it a practical choice for creative work that scales beyond individual downloads. Look elsewhere if five free downloads a month are not enough but custom-priced subscriptions do not fit your buying process.
