Overview

SahiSay accepts bank statements in CSV, Excel, and PDF, and parses accounting exports from VyaparApp, Tally, and Zoho Books. That makes it a practical option for workflows organized around those files, but not for teams that need accounting data to flow directly into reconciliation: Tally XML API and VyaparApp local-database connections remain in development.

The maker says the reconciliation engine runs in the browser or desktop app without sending data to a remote server. It also says raw statements and ledgers are not stored, while transaction history stays on the user's hard drive. That is a meaningful fit for users concerned about moving financial records to a remote service. The desktop app is Windows-only for now; Linux is coming soon.

Key features

Multi-pass matching draws on narration patterns, cheque heuristics, and fuzzy party names. Those methods target the inconsistent descriptions that make file-based reconciliation tedious, while support for return cheques, dynamic date offsets, and cross-account entries addresses cases that simpler matching workflows may not handle well.

Reports can be exported as Excel or PDF and filtered by matched, unmatched, probable, or return-cheque status. Separating probable matches from settled ones gives users a useful review queue, rather than forcing every candidate into a yes-or-no result. The trade-off is that the product is oriented around importing and reviewing files, not connected accounting sync.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 INR per free and allows five reconciliations per day, with unlimited transactions per file and PDF export. It is a sensible starting point for individuals, small businesses, and startups with occasional work, but the daily cap will constrain regular bookkeeping. A free trial is also offered.

Pro costs 1499.00 INR per month and adds unlimited reconciliations, unlimited transactions per file, API access, and team collaboration. The maker positions it for CAs, accountants, and growing businesses; the higher price is easier to justify when the Free quota is too restrictive or multiple people need to collaborate.

Ultra costs 3999.00 INR per month and includes unlimited reconciliations, unlimited transactions per file, and team collaboration. API access is coming soon on this plan, so buyers who need that capability now should consider Pro instead. Custom & Max has custom pricing and offers unlimited API access, custom integrations, on-premise deployment, webhooks or Zapier integrations, custom narration patterns, compatible custom reports, and custom automation actions. Its priority support is by phone and email; paid plans list priority support.

Platforms

SahiSay is available on Android, iOS, web, and Windows. Linux desktop support is coming soon. Browser availability broadens access beyond Windows, but the desktop choice remains limited to that operating system for now.

Who it's for

SahiSay fits individuals and smaller businesses beginning with file-based reconciliation, as well as CAs, accountants, and growing businesses that need higher quotas or team collaboration. It is less suitable for organizations that require direct Tally or VyaparApp sync today, or need a Linux desktop app immediately.

Pros and cons

Pros: CSV, Excel, and PDF statement parsing supports common file workflows, while exports from VyaparApp, Tally, and Zoho Books widen the accounting-file options.
Pros: Multi-pass matching and filters for probable and return-cheque entries help focus review on exceptions and uncertain results.
Pros: Browser or desktop processing without remote transmission, plus transaction history kept on the user's hard drive, will suit users prioritizing local handling of financial records.
Cons: Free is limited to five reconciliations per day, which can make it a poor fit for steady high-volume work.
Cons: Direct Tally and VyaparApp connections are still in development, so parsing exports is not a substitute for live sync.
Cons: The desktop app is Windows-only for now, and Ultra's API access is not ready yet.

Alternatives

Account Reconciliation Software is a useful starting point for comparing more tools in the category.

Choose Settler if an API-oriented or self-hosted workflow matters more than SahiSay's file-based desktop approach: its free Open Source plan includes 10,000 monthly reconciliations, local evidence and replay traces, and community support.

speedRecon is another free entry point, but its Free forever plan is narrower, with single-user access, three reconciliations per month, and uploads capped at 300 rows per file.

OpenRecon is worth considering for a free, self-hosted or API option with no paid tier, no account, and an MIT license.

FIS Data Integrity Manager is a paid web alternative.

BankRecon is a paid web alternative with a free trial.

Eko Recon is a web, Windows, API, and self-hosted alternative with custom pricing.

OneCap offers a free plan and a web-based option with custom business rules, AI assistance, and payables and receivables ledger reconciliation.

Reiterate OS is a paid API and web alternative with a free trial, focused on invoice processing workflows and accounting-agent chat.

Verdict

SahiSay is a strong fit for individuals, accountants, and growing businesses that reconcile exported files and want detailed matching, report filters, and local processing. The main reason to choose it is the combination of file-format breadth and targeted handling of awkward entries. Look elsewhere if live accounting sync or a Linux desktop app is essential, or if five daily reconciliations are not enough and Pro's monthly price is not justified.
