Overview

Customers can order through a restaurant website, branded mobile app, QR code, Facebook, Instagram, or kiosk. Ressto also supports POS integration, delivery management, booking tools, custom domains, and SEO controls. Ordering works on the web and tablets, while branded apps are available for iOS and Android.

Loyalty, marketing, delivery, and integrations are included in every plan, with no order commission across the plans. Ressto is a product of Deonde, headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, and says it serves more than 3,000 restaurants across multiple regions. Most US restaurants can begin accepting orders within 24 hours of signup.

US payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and digital wallets through Stripe. Ressto says Google Analytics helps it understand site usage and that no personal data is shared; essential cookies cover Cloudflare security and Crisp support chat.

Key features

Direct ordering and delivery

The range of ordering channels gives restaurants several ways to reach customers without relying on a single storefront. Pickup and delivery are both supported, and delivery management is included. The tradeoff is that Basic’s 100-order monthly allowance can be exhausted quickly; restaurants expecting more volume need a paid tier for unlimited orders.

Capacity and staff access

Basic is restricted to one restaurant, one staff account, 200 menu items, and 10 QR codes. Growth raises those limits to unlimited orders, menu items, QR codes, and staff accounts, with support for up to 20 restaurants. Scale removes the restaurant cap. That progression makes Ressto more suitable for growing operators than a free tier alone might suggest.

Support and setup

Support ranges from email to email and chat, with priority support on Scale. The stated 24-hour go-live window for most US restaurants is useful for operators who need a prompt start, though the available support level depends on the plan.

Pricing

Basic: $0.00 USD per free, free forever, with no credit card required. It includes 100 orders per month, 200 menu items, 10 QR codes, one staff account, and one restaurant. This is a sensible way to establish direct ordering at no plan cost, but the order and account limits make it a poor fit for larger teams or steady high volume.

Growth: $39.00 USD per month, billed per restaurant per month, with applicable taxes excluded. It includes unlimited orders, menu items, QR codes, and staff accounts, plus up to 20 restaurants. For a restaurant outgrowing Basic, it removes the most consequential capacity caps; groups with more than 20 locations will need another tier.

Scale: $99.00 USD per month, billed per restaurant per month, with applicable taxes excluded. It includes unlimited orders, menu items, QR codes, staff accounts, and restaurants. Its higher price makes sense for operators needing unrestricted location capacity, branded-app, loyalty, and delivery-fleet tools.

Enterprise: custom pricing for restaurant groups with 20+ outlets. It is the tier to consider when Growth’s 20-restaurant ceiling is insufficient.

All plans carry 0% commission on orders. Customers can cancel or downgrade at any time, so the paid tiers do not require a long-term commitment according to the stated terms.

Platforms

Ressto supports Android, iOS, and web. Branded apps are available for iOS and Android, and ordering also works on websites and tablets.

Who it's for

Ressto is best for restaurants seeking branded direct ordering across web, social, QR, and app channels, particularly those that want to avoid order commissions. Basic suits a single location with modest monthly volume; Growth fits operators needing unlimited order capacity and up to 20 restaurants; Scale and Enterprise are aimed at larger groups needing more location capacity.

It is less compelling for a business that cannot operate within Basic’s one-account and 100-order limits but is not ready to pay per restaurant for Growth, or for a group that needs more than 20 locations without moving to custom pricing.

Pros and cons

Pros: 0% order commission across all plans keeps the pricing model straightforward for direct orders.
Pros: Basic is free forever and requires no credit card, giving a single restaurant a low-risk way to start, subject to its 100-order cap.
Pros: Loyalty, marketing, delivery, and integrations are included rather than sold as add-ons.
Pros: Growth and Scale include unlimited staff accounts, and Growth supports up to 20 restaurants.
Cons: Basic allows only one staff account and one restaurant, limiting its usefulness for teams and groups.
Cons: Growth and Scale are priced per restaurant per month, so multi-location operators pay for each location.
Cons: Growth stops at 20 restaurants; larger groups must seek custom Enterprise pricing.

Alternatives

Deonde Restaurant App Builder is worth comparing for restaurants that want a free plan with 100 monthly orders and 10 QR codes; its Basic plan allows 50 menu items and cash payment only, unlike Ressto’s 200 menu items.

AvowApps offers a free plan with one app, 1,000 MB of storage, basic modules, community support, and no source code; consider it if those app-building terms better match your needs.

GloriaFood has a free service plan with unlimited orders and locations, no per-order commission, and no monthly fee, making it an option to compare if those free-plan limits matter most.

DoorDash Online Ordering has no monthly or commission-based fees, though standard payment processing fees apply and customers pay delivery fees.

Hang is another alternative.

Mobstep has a $29.00 USD per month Basic plan with unlimited branches, two agents, 200 items, Android and iOS support, a mobile website, and an application builder; compare it if a lower monthly entry price and those stated limits suit your operation.

Restolabs is a paid alternative with a free trial and a listed Basic plan at $199.00 USD per month for a 30-day trial and zero-commission unlimited orders.

UpMenu Restaurant App Builder is another paid alternative, with a Website plan at $1.00 USD per month per location that includes a website builder, SEO tools, hosting, and SSL certificate.

Verdict

Choose Ressto if your restaurant wants branded direct ordering across several channels, zero order commissions, and a path from a free single-location plan to multi-location capacity. Its strongest case is the combination of included ordering features and clear capacity upgrades; look elsewhere if you need more than Basic’s 100 monthly orders without per-restaurant pricing, or want more than 20 locations without custom pricing.
