Overview

TierMaker is a tier-list service for ranking items, drawing on a library it says contains millions of templates. It suits people who want to publish reusable rankings or build lists on a phone. Its broad template and image support are balanced by a meaningful limitation: browser-uploaded photo lists are one-off downloads, not lists you can save to your profile or share for others to make.

Key features

Users can add custom tier labels and images, publish lists publicly, and collect votes. Templates can hold up to 3,000 images, while each upload is capped at 500 images and 50 MB; supported formats are JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP. The template capacity works for image-heavy rankings, though large collections may need to be uploaded in batches.

Logged-in users can make a single-use list from photos uploaded in a browser and download the result. Because it cannot be saved to a profile or shared as a URL for others to create their own, that workflow is best for a quick personal ranking, not an ongoing or reusable project.

The Android and Apple apps add quick-vote formats, saved templates, custom tier-list sizing, text-to-image, and higher-resolution downloads without the TierMaker logo. The template guide supports account creation through Twitter or Google login and directs users to email for help. TierMaker says it moderates all content and prohibits NSFW templates. Its privacy policy says it collects information users provide, including contact details, credentials, and social-media login data, and may use service providers for hosting, payments, and customer service. After account termination, personal information need not be retained beyond six months, except where law requires or permits longer retention.

Pricing

Plan	Price	What it includes
TierMaker website	0.00 USD per free	Desktop and mobile website use
TierMaker Pro Monthly	1.99 USD per month	Ad-free app and website, higher-quality downloads without watermark, quick voting, custom sizing, saved templates, and text-to-image
TierMaker Pro Annual	9.99 USD per year	Same Pro features, billed annually
TierMaker Pro Lifetime	19.99 USD per once	Same Pro features, one-time purchase

The free website plan covers desktop and mobile browser use. Pro is the route to the app features, ad-free use, and watermark-free higher-quality downloads. Monthly billing suits someone who wants to pay for a shorter period; annual and lifetime pricing reduce the need for recurring monthly payments, with lifetime requiring the larger one-time outlay. The service offers a free trial, though its length and terms are not given.

Platforms

TierMaker is available on Android, iOS, macOS, and the web. Its mobile app features make it the stronger fit for phone-based creation and voting, while the free plan also supports desktop and mobile website use.

Who it's for

TierMaker is a good fit for creators who want to build public, reusable templates, especially image-led lists that benefit from a large template library and high per-template capacity. The guide encourages broadly useful templates and suggests creators consider whether at least 100 people might want to use them. It is less suited to people who need browser-uploaded personal lists saved to an account or shared for others to remake.

Pros and cons

Pros: Millions of templates give users a broad starting point for popular topics and reusable rankings.
Pros: Support for up to 3,000 images per template accommodates substantial visual lists.
Pros: Pro gathers mobile-specific tools, watermark-free higher-quality downloads, and ad-free use into monthly, annual, or one-time options.
Cons: Browser-uploaded photo lists cannot be saved to a profile or shared for others to create, limiting their use to one-off downloads.
Cons: Uploads top out at 500 images and 50 MB at a time, so very large image collections require multiple batches.
Cons: The free website plan does not include the listed Pro app features.

Alternatives

For a wider comparison, see Game Tier List Tools. Choose TierPad if unlimited tier lists and five AI tier lists per day on Android or the web matter more than a free trial. TierListMakerOnline is a better fit for unlimited exports without an account or watermark across Android, iOS, and web. Tier is another free option for web, iOS, and Android.

TierList.ai suits readers who want unlimited lists, watermark-free PNG downloads, link sharing, and no account requirement. Choose GOATY for browsing, creating, and sharing tier lists and Breakdowns on the web, anonymously or with an account. TierBuddy offers unlimited lists and items, no ads, and no signup on the web. TierKing is an alternative for image and text lists with PNG export and shareable workflows, without requiring login to create or export. MyTierMaker is another free option.

Verdict

Choose TierMaker if you want a large template library, public publishing, voting, and the option to add mobile creation tools through Pro. Its image capacity and reusable-template focus serve creators well, but look elsewhere if private browser-uploaded lists need to persist or be shared for others to remake.
