Overview

Formerly SALESmanago, Manago AI has operated since 2012 and is headquartered in Krakow, Poland. The maker says more than 2,000 growing brands use the platform. Its core proposition is to connect customer information with campaigns: profiles combine behaviour, purchases, engagement, preferences, consent and predictive signals for targeting and personalisation.

Real-time profiles, identity resolution, data ingestion and audience activation cover the journey from assembling customer data to using it in campaigns. Lead scoring and CRM sync can extend that work into qualification and connected sales processes. This breadth is useful for e-commerce teams with multiple customer signals to act on, but likely more platform than a business seeking only a simple email sender.

Key features

Behaviour-driven workflows

A visual workflow builder and behavioural triggers can start cross-channel journeys when customers browse, buy, abandon carts, return or disengage. Email, SMS, WhatsApp, push and web provide several routes for follow-up. That range gives retailers room to coordinate customer communications, while SMS and WhatsApp are usage-charged and can make campaign volume a budget consideration.

AI campaign assistance

Agentic AI can help create audiences, draft content, assemble workflows, suggest timing and prepare campaigns for team approval. It supports campaign preparation rather than removing the approval step. Monthly AI allowances reset, and use pauses at the cap unless the customer upgrades or buys additional usage; teams relying on AI throughout a busy month should account for that interruption risk.

Integrations, support and safeguards

Ready-to-use e-commerce integrations include Shopify, Magento, PrestaShop and WooCommerce, with an open API for custom connections. Every package includes 24/7 technical support, help articles, a knowledge base and access to a Customer Success team. Security provisions include SSO, 2FA, DDoS protection, firewalls, network segmentation, identity separation, periodic penetration tests and vulnerability management. Personal data is stored in Polish data centres within the EEA, alongside GDPR-oriented consent management and privacy-by-design practices.

Pricing

Manago AI is paid software with custom pricing on request, and there is no free plan. A free trial is offered. Active contacts determine platform pricing; contacts without marketing consent do not count. SMS and WhatsApp usage is charged separately, and several expansion packs are optional add-ons, so the platform price alone may not capture campaign costs.

Plan	Price and allowance	Best fit
Manago AI platform	Custom pricing; 3,000 active contacts and 1,000 SMS messages shown by default	Teams seeking the core customer engagement platform; clarify contact and messaging costs against expected volume.
Agentic AI Starter	Custom pricing; 1× monthly usage	Teams beginning with the AI allowance.
Agentic AI Boost	30.00 EUR per month, billed month to month; 3× Starter monthly usage; everything in Starter, with allowance increases available on request	Teams needing more than Starter’s allowance with the option to request a higher cap.
Agentic AI Power	99.00 EUR per month; 10× Starter monthly usage; everything in Boost and priority allowance increases	Teams with heavier AI use that value priority allowance increases.
Agentic AI Flex	Custom pricing; 15× monthly usage starting point	Teams starting at the largest stated usage level.

The AI plans are differentiated chiefly by monthly usage multiples and allowance support, so the cheaper tiers trade capacity for lower stated monthly cost. Confirm the relationship between platform pricing and AI plan pricing, as well as the effect of active contacts, messaging usage and add-ons, before committing.

Platforms

Manago AI supports web, Android, iOS and API access. That combination suits teams managing campaigns across desktop and mobile environments or connecting the platform to other systems.

Who it's for

Manago AI makes the most sense for e-commerce businesses coordinating customer profiles, behavioural journeys and multichannel engagement. Its ready-made integrations suit retailers on Shopify, Magento, PrestaShop or WooCommerce, while the API provides a route for custom integrations. Businesses with smaller, simpler email needs or strict predictable-cost requirements may prefer a narrower product, given contact-based pricing and metered channels.

Pros and cons

Pros: Combines customer data, real-time profiles, identity resolution, scoring and activation, giving marketers a connected basis for targeting.
Pros: Behaviour-triggered workflows span five stated channels, useful for retailers coordinating follow-up beyond email.
Pros: E-commerce integrations, API access, 24/7 technical support and a Customer Success team cover common implementation and support needs.
Cons: Custom platform pricing and contact-based billing make costs harder to compare without estimating the active audience.
Cons: SMS and WhatsApp add usage charges, and optional expansion packs can raise spend.
Cons: AI work can stop at the monthly allowance cap unless usage is increased or purchased, which may disrupt teams that depend on it.

Verdict

Choose Manago AI if your e-commerce team needs customer profiles and behavioural signals to drive coordinated campaigns across multiple channels, with AI assistance and support built into the package. Its depth is the reason to shortlist it; uncertain total cost across contact counts, messaging usage, add-ons and capped AI is the reason to look elsewhere if predictable pricing matters more than an integrated platform.
