Overview

SimplyBook.me is booking software for service businesses that want clients to schedule online and staff to manage appointments across web and mobile. It suits solo providers and growing teams that need payments, calendar coordination, and multiple booking channels in one platform. Its main trade-off is capacity: even paid tiers impose booking and provider caps until Enterprise.

Key features

Booking and payments: Clients can book through websites, social media, Google, and client apps, while businesses can collect payments and deposits. Group and recurring bookings, automated reminders, and client reviews support a broader appointment workflow; the lack of round-robin scheduling is a drawback for teams that need appointments automatically rotated among providers.
Calendar and team coordination: Two-way sync with Google Calendar and Outlook helps keep schedules aligned. Plans support multiple providers, system users, roles, and team calendars, though provider limits vary by tier.
Integrations: Facebook, Instagram, Google My Business, QuickBooks, FreshBooks, Xero, WordPress, and APIs are among the integrations, alongside connections to more than 5,000 services. That breadth is useful for businesses fitting booking into existing tools.
Security and support: Security measures include ISO 27001, SSL, SSO, daily backups, and GDPR compliance. HIPAA-enabling settings require specific configuration and are not active by default, so healthcare businesses should account for that before relying on them. Human support is available 24/7, with weekday chat and email coverage; agents support English, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, French, Italian, and Ukrainian.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free, billed monthly, and includes 50 bookings, one custom feature, and one provider. It has no time limit but must be renewed monthly. That makes it a low-commitment option for a solo provider with modest appointment volume, but the cap can quickly become restrictive.

Basic costs €11.9 per month billed annually or €13.9 per month billed monthly. It raises capacity to 100 bookings, three custom features, and five providers, fitting a small team that does not need extensive customization. Standard is €24.9 per month billed annually or €29.9 per month billed monthly, with 500 bookings, eight custom features, and 15 providers; it is the more practical step for a busier operation. Annual billing offers a 17% saving.

Premium costs €49.9 per month billed annually or €59.9 per month billed monthly. It includes 2,000 bookings, unlimited custom features, and 30 providers, suiting a larger team with heavier demand. Enterprise has custom pricing, custom booking and provider capacity, and unlimited custom features.

A 14-day trial does not require a credit card or payment information and includes most custom features, with several exclusions. The lower tiers trade capacity and customization for lower cost, and even Premium has a fixed monthly booking and provider ceiling.

Platforms

SimplyBook.me is available on web, iOS, and Android. Admin apps support booking management, while client apps let customers book. Calendar sync is two-way with Google Calendar and Outlook.

Who it's for

Solo professionals can start with the free tier, while small businesses can use paid plans to add providers and booking capacity. Larger teams and enterprises have higher limits or custom capacity, though businesses that need automatic provider rotation should consider another scheduling tool.
