Overview

Ketto connects contributors with campaigners and supports recurring donations. Its plans range from automated story creation to personalised campaign support, advertising and a whitelabel microsite. Campaign videographers can help with the process from ideas and scripting through production and post-production, though that service is not tied to a particular plan.

Fund withdrawal depends on uploading required documents and receiving approval. Organisers must also verify identity with an OTP and an accepted identification document. After a withdrawal request, INR payouts can take 1–2 working days and USD payouts 5–7 working days. These checks are a meaningful consideration for fundraisers with time-sensitive expenses.

Key features

Campaign stories: Bronze automates story creation, while Silver, Gold and Plus & Amplify provide personalised creation. Bronze suits campaigners who can work with an automated story; the paid tiers are more appropriate when tailored presentation is a priority.
Promotion and guidance: Silver adds a dedicated crowdfunding expert and custom promotional banner. Gold includes those features plus campaign visibility from Ketto and cashback offers. Plus & Amplify adds promotions and advertising, social media marketing, a crowdfunding coach and a whitelabel microsite. These options suit campaigns seeking more active support, but their percentage or custom pricing should be weighed against the expected benefit.
Payments and security: Ketto charges a 3% payment gateway fee on funds raised, with 18% GST on both the success fee and gateway fee. It says payments use 128-bit encryption, personal information sent to payment gateways is encrypted, and card details are not stored by Ketto; payment details are held temporarily by the gateway during a transaction.

Pricing

Bronze (Standard Plan): 0.00 USD per free. It includes automated story creation, Android/iOS app access and customer support. The trade-off is that it does not include the personalised story, dedicated expert or promotional elements offered by paid tiers. A 3% payment gateway fee applies, plus 18% GST on the Ketto success fee and gateway fee.

Silver: 5.00 % per contact, billed as a 5% platform fee. It includes personalised story creation, Android/iOS app access, a dedicated crowdfunding expert and a custom promotional banner. This is the entry paid tier for campaigners who value individual guidance and a tailored story, without Gold's campaign visibility and cashback offers. The 3% gateway fee and 18% GST also apply.

Gold: 7.00 % per contact, billed as a 7% platform fee. It includes Silver's personalised story, expert and banner, plus campaign visibility from Ketto and cashback offers. It fits campaigns that can make use of those additions; otherwise, Silver costs less while retaining the core personalised support. The 3% gateway fee and 18% GST apply here as well.

Plus & Amplify: custom pricing. It includes personalised story creation, a dedicated crowdfunding expert, promotions and advertising, social media marketing, a crowdfunding coach and a whitelabel microsite. It is aimed at campaigners seeking a broader marketing package, but they should confirm the price with Ketto before committing. The 3% gateway fee and 18% GST apply.

Platforms

Ketto is available on Android, iOS and the web. Bronze, Silver and Gold include Android/iOS app access; Plus & Amplify does not specify app access among its plan inclusions.

Who it's for

Ketto lists fundraising options for individuals, NGOs, corporates and education causes. It is a stronger fit for campaigners who want help with story creation, promotion or video production than for those seeking a platform with no percentage-based platform fee. Its Mumbai headquarters and INR and USD payout timelines may be relevant to campaigners planning withdrawals in either currency.

Pros and cons

Pro: The plan ladder offers a free entry point and progressively adds tailored stories, expert support, visibility and marketing, so campaigners can choose the level of assistance they need.
Pro: Video-production help spans ideation through post-production, supporting campaigners who need more than text to present a fundraiser.
Con: The 3% gateway fee and 18% GST on the success and gateway fees add to campaign costs across the plans.
Con: Withdrawals require identity checks and approved documents, and payout processing takes 1–2 working days for INR or 5–7 working days for USD after a request.
Con: Gold's platform visibility and cashback offers cost more than Silver, while Plus & Amplify uses custom pricing; campaigners should compare the added support with their fundraising needs.

Alternatives

Nonprofit Crowdfunding Software is a useful starting point for comparing tools across the category. Consider Fundiful if a free option with no Fundiful percentage fee is the priority; card processor fees may still apply. JustGiving offers a free Start plan with no monthly subscription, though standard processing fees and a 5% Gift Aid reclaim fee apply. LaunchGood has no platform fee on its free fundraising plan, but card processing costs 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction and an optional checkout tip is offered. Milaap is another free fundraiser option with zero platform fees, actual payment processing charges and voluntary tipping. M-Changa may suit campaigners who can work within its one-active-fundraiser-per-phone-line limit and minimum withdrawal balance. ImpactGuru is worth comparing for its Assisted plan, priced at 3.00 USD per once on the amount raised, with customised story support and stated withdrawal timing of 2–7 days. Scrile Connect is a paid platform for solo creators seeking a branded fan page rather than a cause fundraiser. AdoptAClassroom.org serves eligible U.S. educators whose donations are online credit for marketplace or Teacher Choice purchases.

Verdict

Ketto is a sound choice for individuals and organisations who want a free way to begin fundraising and the option to pay for more tailored storytelling, expert guidance or campaign marketing. Its video support and range of cause options add flexibility. Choose another platform if avoiding percentage fees is more important, or if identity and document approval requirements and payout timing do not suit the campaign's needs.
