Overview

Brands can choose content-only jobs, jobs that include posting, Social Blasts or ongoing retainers. The workflow covers creator discovery, product shipping, deadlines, content review and revisions, payments, and performance tracking. Creator payments remain in escrow until the brand approves completed work, giving the brand a clear approval point before funds are released.

Posting jobs can include TikTok Spark Ads or Instagram Partnership Ad codes so brands can boost creator posts. JoinBrands serves creator marketplaces in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and Germany. Sales calls and email support are available at support@joinbrands.com.

Key features

Content options range from photos, reviews, unboxings, demos and how-to videos to custom, green-screen and video-ad work. The platform also supports TikTok and TikTok Shop videos and Live, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and videos, and Amazon Shoppable Videos. That breadth helps brands commission several asset types through one marketplace, while creator ratings and 19 content certifications add useful signals during selection.

In-platform chat, content approval, revisions, usage-rights management and a content library support the path from creator selection to reuse. Post analytics and performance tracking help brands assess published work. Multi-brand management and team collaborators suit agencies or businesses handling several brands, and API access is available.

The TikTok Shop integration provides campaign and affiliate performance insights, but an account can connect only one TikTok Shop at a time. Shopify can sync imported products with read-only product access; only each product’s default variant is imported. A Shopify store can connect to only one JoinBrands account, although a single JoinBrands account can connect multiple Shopify stores. These constraints matter for sellers with multiple Shop accounts, variant-heavy catalogs, or separate teams managing the same store.

Pricing

JoinBrands has a free Pay-as-you-go plan with a 15% platform fee and $0 Roll Over Cash. It is the lowest-commitment way to begin, but the higher fee makes it less attractive for brands expecting sustained creator spend.

Start-up costs $99.00 USD per month, with a 12% platform fee and $30 Roll Over Cash per month. It lowers the fee relative to the free plan and suits brands running campaigns regularly, though it adds a recurring subscription. Pro costs $299.00 USD per month, with a 10% platform fee and $90 Roll Over Cash per month; it is a better fit when campaign volume makes the lower fee useful. Max costs $499.00 USD per month, with an 8% platform fee and $150 Roll Over Cash per month, favoring higher-spend teams that can make use of the reduced fee and monthly rollover cash. The pricing details do not establish seat counts or campaign quotas, so teams should not assume a particular allowance.

Platforms

JoinBrands is available on Android, iOS and the web. The maker provides a creator app for Android, and its official download page directs users to select an app store. The listed platform range gives teams web access alongside mobile options, while the Android app is specifically described as a creator app.

Who it's for

The marketplace is aimed at e-commerce and direct-to-consumer brands, Amazon and TikTok Shop sellers, marketing agencies, app and software companies, and local retailers, as well as creators. It is a particularly sensible fit for teams commissioning recurring work across multiple content formats or managing more than one brand. A business that relies on connecting several TikTok Shops to one account, or needs Shopify variants imported beyond the default, should weigh those limitations carefully.

Pros and cons

Pros: Multiple campaign types, broad content formats and workflow tools cover sourcing through approvals and performance tracking in one marketplace.
Pros: Escrow releases creator payments after brand approval, while ad codes can support boosting eligible creator posts.
Pros: The free entry plan avoids a monthly subscription, and paid plans reduce the platform fee as the monthly price rises.
Cons: The free plan carries a 15% platform fee, while the paid plans require monthly subscriptions in addition to a platform fee.
Cons: Only one TikTok Shop can connect to an account, and Shopify imports only default product variants; a store also cannot be shared across JoinBrands accounts.

Alternatives

Verdict

JoinBrands is a strong choice for e-commerce teams that need a broad creator marketplace, repeatable campaign workflows and approval-linked payments. Its main appeal is bringing sourcing, content operations and performance tracking into one service; its main reason to look elsewhere is the combination of monthly fees, platform fees and store-connection constraints. Start with the free plan if campaign volume is uncertain, and consider a paid tier when reduced platform fees justify the subscription.
