Overview

Quizbot can make quizzes and tests with answer keys from uploaded materials or a topic. It accepts PDFs, PowerPoints, Word documents, web links, videos, images, text and audio, then generates multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, true/false, open-ended, calculation, matching or mixed questions. That breadth helps when course content is scattered across formats, while the 10-question batch cap on Free makes larger sets a sequence of smaller jobs.

Key features

Quizbot is more than a question generator: concept-level feedback, personalized study plans, AI explanations, spaced-repetition reviews and daily practice sessions are aimed at helping learners identify gaps and return to them. In Notebook, users can upload course materials and chat with an AI assistant described as trained on those materials. The free allowance of one notebook and up to two sources is a modest way to try this workflow, but likely too narrow for someone managing several courses.

Quizzes and answer keys can be exported to Word, PDF, Google Classroom, Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, Kahoot and Aiken. That gives educators options for moving generated material into classroom and quiz workflows, rather than leaving it locked in Quizbot. The maker says uploaded files are parsed in a temporary cache, sent to its AI model and removed after questions are successfully created. Its privacy policy says data in transit is encrypted with SSL/TLS, access is restricted, and payments go through PCI-compliant third-party providers. EU, EEA and UK users are described as having GDPR rights; deleted-account data is permanently deleted immediately, though encrypted backups may remain for up to 30 days.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free, billed $0 forever. It allows 50 questions/month, one notebook, up to two sources and 10 questions per batch. This is enough to assess the range of formats and study tools, but the monthly quota and small batch size make it a poor fit for frequent use.

Standard Plan costs 7.50 USD per month, billed $7.5 per month, for 2,000 questions and 50 high-quality images. It suits steady but bounded quiz creation. Pro Plan costs 12.50 USD per month, billed $12.5 per month, and raises the allowance to unlimited questions and 100 high-quality images. Educator Plan costs 18.50 USD per month, billed $18.5 per month, with unlimited questions and 300 high-quality images; it is the clearest fit for educators who need the larger image allowance.

Question packages suit buyers who prefer a fixed allotment to a monthly subscription. The 2000 Questions Package includes 2,000 questions, 50 high-quality images and six months of validity; the 4000 Questions Package includes 4,000 questions, 100 high-quality images and six months of validity. Both have custom pricing. The 10000 Questions Package costs 70.00 USD per once, billed $70.0 Per One Time Payment, and includes 10,000 questions valid for six months. Quizbot advertises 50 free questions each month without a credit card and calls this a free trial in its FAQ; it gives no trial length beyond that monthly allowance.

Platforms

Quizbot is available on Android, iOS and web, with mobile apps linked by the maker on the Apple App Store and Google Play. That cross-platform reach suits learners who switch between a phone and a browser. Support is directed through a Help Center, with info@quizbot.ai also provided as a contact.

Who it's for

Quizbot suits students who want practice and review from their own materials, and tutors or teachers who need to turn varied content into quizzes and export them to teaching platforms. Schools, companies and other organizations are also among its intended audiences. It is less compelling for occasional users who need only a handful of questions: Free's monthly quota may suffice, but its 10-question batch limit and one-notebook cap restrict broader use.

Pros and cons

Pros: Broad input and question formats make it practical for converting varied study material into different kinds of practice.
Pros: Feedback, study plans, spaced repetition and daily practice support ongoing revision, not just quiz creation.
Pros: Exports include common document, classroom and quiz destinations, giving educators options for reuse.
Cons: Free's 50-question monthly allowance, 10-question batch maximum and two-source Notebook cap are restrictive for regular or multi-course use.
Cons: Unlimited questions start at 12.50 USD per month; the package options without a published amount have custom pricing.

Alternatives

For a live session where participant capacity matters more than study workflows, QuizFlight is a relevant alternative: its free session starts with up to 20 participants and then allows up to five, without a credit card. If the priority is PDF work across desktop and mobile platforms rather than AI-led practice, PDFNoob offers free basic use. QuizPilot is another free quiz-making option for iOS and web. For a browser-based free tier with a stated allowance of five quiz generations per month and up to 10 questions per quiz, SimpleQuizMaker offers a more bounded quiz-generation alternative. IntelliAssess may suit web users who want a student-focused assessment tool with a free allowance capped at 25 students and model-specific question quotas. PDFQuiz is worth considering for document-based quiz creation, with a free option that allows up to 20 document pages per quiz. QuizFlex AI is a web alternative with paid plans that include voice notes and transcription. Revisely is another browser-based study option with a free Basic plan capped at five pages per document upload and 25,000 characters per text upload. Browse more AI Quiz Generators or AI Study Tools if you want to compare a wider set of options.

Verdict

Choose Quizbot if you want to turn varied course materials into quizzes and follow them with structured practice, explanations and review. Its broad formats and export options make it particularly useful for students and educators with recurring study or teaching needs. Look elsewhere if you need only occasional questions or want generous free use: the 50-question monthly cap, 10-question batches and limited Notebook make the free plan a sampler rather than a durable solution.
