Overview

Roofr’s CRM brings a job board together with customer communications, automations, invoicing, and integrated material ordering. Customizable proposals and an Instant Estimator connect homeowner estimates to job records, which can help a roofing business keep sales and operations in the same workflow. A contractor looking only for roof reports may be paying for more software than needed.

Key features

Measurement reports include total squares, pitch, and edges, and are charged per report rather than sold in bulk packages. That pay-as-you-go model can suit contractors with variable demand, but frequent measurements create a recurring cost to account for. Starter reports cost $19 each and arrive within 24 hours or less; Measure+ reports cost $13 each, with a guaranteed two- or six-hour delivery option.

The proposal tool supports custom materials and pricing and e-signatures. Instant Estimator uses the contractor’s own pricing to give homeowners estimates, then sends job details to the job board. Together, these tools provide a route from an initial estimate to follow-up work without separating those steps into distinct systems.

Roofr also offers job scheduling, invoicing and payments, and integrations including Google Calendar, Gmail, CompanyCam, Zapier, ABC Supply, QXO, and SRS Roofhub. QuickBooks integration is still beta, works only for U.S. businesses, and excludes QuickBooks Desktop, so it is not a fit for every accounting setup.

Roofr runs on the web and works on modern iOS and Android devices through a browser; there is no separate App Store or Google Play download. That provides mobile access without an installed app, but teams that require a dedicated mobile app should look elsewhere. Support is offered by chat, phone, or email seven days a week. Paid subscribers can also receive unlimited onboarding calls and a dedicated account manager.

Pricing

Starter is free and includes one basic job board, five automated actions, and unlimited users. It also includes 10 trial proposals, invoices, and work orders; once those trial items are used, the plan does not provide the unlimited document capacity found in Essentials. Measurement reports remain $19 each, delivered within 24 hours or less.

Measure+ costs $109.00 USD per month billed monthly, or $209/mo billed yearly. It includes reports at $13 each, $10 USD ESX files per report, two- or six-hour guaranteed delivery, material calculations, waste factor, CSV downloads, and unlimited users. It is the relevant upgrade for contractors who need faster report turnaround or additional measurement calculations, but reports and ESX files still carry per-report charges.

Essentials costs $249.00 USD per month billed monthly, or $209/mo billed yearly. It adds one flexible job board, unlimited proposals, invoices, and work orders, 10 automated actions, credit card and ACH payments, unlimited e-signatures, and unlimited users. It fits businesses that have outgrown Starter’s trial document allotment and need payment collection; the single job board may not suit operations needing several boards.

Scale costs $349.00 USD per month billed monthly, or $299/mo billed yearly. It includes seven customizable job boards, crew management, 25+ automated actions, a performance dashboard, job costs, QuickBooks integration, role-based permissions, and unlimited users. The higher tier is aimed at businesses coordinating more complex operations, though the QuickBooks connection remains beta and U.S.-only. Paid plans offer unlimited onboarding calls and a dedicated account manager.

Platforms

Roofr is available on the web, Android, and iOS through a mobile browser rather than a separate downloadable app. Its browser-based access keeps mobile use possible, but may not meet teams’ preference for an app-store installation.

Who it's for

Roofr is best for roofing contractors who want estimates, proposals, job administration, and invoicing linked in one workflow, particularly those who value configurable proposals and integrated material ordering. Smaller or occasional users can start with Starter, while teams needing more boards, crew management, or role-based access have a clearer case for Scale. Contractors who only need measurements, rely on QuickBooks Desktop, or require a dedicated mobile app should consider other options.

Pros and cons

Pro: Proposals, homeowner estimates, and job-board records connect sales to operations, reducing the need to manage those steps separately.
Pro: Unlimited users on all plans lets a team add users without a per-seat limit in the listed tiers.
Pro: Starter provides a free way to use a basic job board and try proposals, invoices, and work orders.
Con: Measurement reports are always per-report purchases, with no bulk packages, so regular report use adds variable costs.
Con: Starter limits proposals, invoices, and work orders to 10 trial items and has only one basic board and five automated actions.
Con: QuickBooks support is beta, restricted to U.S. businesses, and does not support Desktop; mobile access is browser-based rather than through a dedicated app.

Alternatives

Roofing Software is a broader category directory for comparing options. Instant Roofer is worth considering when free measurements are the priority: its free plan includes unlimited basic measurements, while premium report details require Premium and human-certified reports cost $10. ProLine may suit a team seeking production management, quotes, payments, calling, and automations in a paid plan, though its listed GOOD plan is $497.00 USD per month for three seats. Jobba offers customized packages with pricing discussed around business needs.

Business Pilot is another paid option, with a Site License at $10.00 USD per month for service engineers and installers and quarterly advance invoicing. Centerpoint Connect may appeal to businesses looking for sales, service, and production together; its Scale It plan is $50.00 USD per field user or $100 per office user, plus a $7,499 one-time full implementation. Leap offers an Essential plan at $79.00 USD per month on a one-year contract, limited to one user and five digital signatures. Roof Manager offers a free trial with two full reports and CRM, invoicing, and proposals, while its single-report option costs $10.00 USD per report. GiddyUp is another paid alternative.

Verdict

Roofr is a strong choice for roofing businesses that want measurement, estimating, proposals, and job management connected, with unlimited users even on the free plan. Its main trade-offs are per-report measurement charges, Starter’s limited trial documents, and browser-only mobile access. Choose it if the connected workflow suits your operation; look elsewhere if you need bulk measurement pricing, desktop QuickBooks integration, or a dedicated mobile app.
