Overview

Rather than treating goals as static checklists, Goaltree uses progress, urgency and momentum to select five tasks from active goals each day. That makes the daily workload more focused, with the option to request more tasks after finishing the initial set. The approach is useful for users who want help prioritizing, but less suited to people who prefer to choose every task themselves.

Goals can be organized across Health, Career, Mind, Finance, Relationships and Creative, and viewed as a structured list, a drag-and-drop Kanban board or a node graph. These views offer different ways to navigate a plan; the product’s listed features do not include dedicated goal-review tools.

Key features

Users describe a goal and AI structures it into milestones, targets and concrete tasks. This can give an open-ended objective a workable shape, though the resulting plan still needs to fit the user’s circumstances. Milestone tracking and advanced progress views help follow longer efforts.

AI replanning can begin after a task is skipped three times, a milestone deadline is missed or the user asks for a new plan. Completed milestones remain intact, which helps preserve progress while adjusting the remaining work.

Google Calendar integration, included with Pro, checks the schedule when choosing daily tasks and adjusts the load to fit the day. Goaltree also offers an MCP server through which compatible AI assistants can read goals, show today’s tasks and mark tasks complete; the service says it uses OAuth.

Goals can be shared by link, with editing access for collaborators, who can see live cursors and updates. The web app can be installed as a PWA on Mac, Windows or Linux, and Goaltree describes iOS and Android apps.

Pricing

Free: 0.00 USD per free. It includes three active goals, five AI goal-structuring uses per month, a Today view with five tasks per day, the web app and basic analytics. This is a sensible way to try the daily workflow, but the goal cap and structuring quota limit ongoing use for people with several active ambitions.

Pro: 9.00 USD per month, billed Monthly; annual billing is also offered with 33% savings. Pro removes goal and AI structuring and replanning limits, and adds Google Calendar integration, voice goal capture, native iOS and Android apps, streak tracking, advanced analytics and priority support. It is the more practical fit for users who want multiple goals, schedule-aware planning or mobile apps.

Teams: 16.00 USD per month, billed Per user. The plan is labeled “Soon.” It is described as including everything in Pro, shared goals and progress, a team Today view, manager dashboard, admin controls, SSO / SAML and dedicated onboarding. Its per-user pricing and planned availability make it a future option rather than a current choice.

The pricing page provides hello@goaltree.ai for student and nonprofit discount inquiries. Account access uses magic links, so users need to keep their email address valid and secure. Users retain ownership of their content; Goaltree licenses it to store, process and display it for the service, and says content is not used for advertising or sold to third parties. Users must be at least 13 years old.

Platforms

Goaltree supports Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, web and Windows. The web app can be installed as a PWA on desktop systems, while native mobile apps are included with Pro.

Who it's for

Goaltree is best for individuals who want AI to turn goals into a structured plan and narrow that plan to daily priorities, especially if their schedule or progress changes often. Pro is the better fit for people who need unlimited goals, calendar-aware task selection or native mobile apps. Users who want extensive free capacity or dedicated goal-review tools should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros: Daily selection draws on urgency, progress and momentum, so users get a focused starting list rather than an undifferentiated task backlog.
Pros: Replanning can respond to skipped tasks or missed deadlines without discarding completed milestones.
Pros: List, Kanban and node-graph views let users inspect goals in different formats.
Cons: The free plan allows only three active goals and five AI structuring uses monthly, which can constrain users managing several ongoing plans.
Cons: Native iOS and Android apps and Google Calendar integration require Pro.
Cons: Dedicated goal-review tools are not part of the listed feature set.

Verdict

Goaltree is a strong fit for people who want AI-generated goal structure paired with a deliberately short, adaptive daily task list. Pro is the clearest choice for users who need more than three active goals, calendar-aware selection or native mobile apps. Look elsewhere if a generous free plan or dedicated goal-review tools matter more than automated replanning and daily prioritization.
