Overview

Navigate360 brings student profiles, coordinated care, communications, advising, and analytics into a cloud-based CRM. Staff can manage cases and referrals, alerts, campaigns, appointments, events, two-way SMS, and faculty progress reports. Students can use an iPhone, Android, or desktop experience for conversations, surveys, advising, career tools, and self-reported concerns. That shared reach can help institutions coordinate services, though its value depends on bringing multiple teams and student-facing needs into the same system.

Institutions can use SIS data and optionally add LMS, Common App, or custom data. EAB says the platform connects with systems that offer industry-standard connection points, including SIS, LMS, email, and calendar services; institutions can export data through APIs or regular bulk exports. This flexibility supports campus-wide workflows, but also makes technology scope an important part of the purchasing decision.

Key features

Coordinated support and engagement

Profiles, cases, referrals, alerts, messaging, and intervention workflows give staff ways to identify concerns and coordinate follow-up. Two-way SMS, campaigns, appointments, events, and faculty progress reports extend that work beyond advising meetings. Students can also raise concerns themselves through the engagement hub. These tools fit institutions coordinating support across offices; a school seeking only a basic appointment or advising system may not need this breadth.

Analytics and AI

Dashboards, query and visualization tools, scheduled reports, intervention and population analytics, predictive models, and data exports support both routine reporting and broader student-success analysis. Embedded AI can assist staff with outreach, reports, meeting summaries, and follow-up, while student-facing AI answers questions and routes students to support around the clock. The combined toolkit can serve teams working at both individual and population levels, but it makes the platform a larger operational commitment than a focused advising product.

Implementation, support, and security

EAB says its implementation team can get partners live in under 100 days. Partners receive a dedicated Strategic Leader, 24/7/365 technical support, implementation training, office hours, and more than 350 self-paced training modules. The support structure is relevant for institutions planning a broad rollout, while the stated timeline is not a substitute for assessing each institution's data and technology scope.

Navigate360 is hosted on AWS and accessed through web browsers. EAB says it follows FERPA and GDPR practices and requirements; its Trust Center lists FERPA, GDPR, SOC 2 Type 2, CCPA, and VPAT compliance areas. Institutions should assess those areas against their own requirements.

Pricing

Navigate360 uses paid, custom pricing. Its enterprise license covers all staff and students, with pricing dependent on institutional enrollment and technology scope; EAB says there are no per-user or per-office license fees. That structure may suit institutions seeking campus-wide access, but enrollment and integration needs make it difficult to budget without a quote. No free plan or trial is stated.

Platforms

Navigate360 supports web, iOS, Android, and API access. The student engagement hub is available through iPhone, Android, and desktop app experiences, and the cloud-based service is accessible through web browsers.

Who it's for

Navigate360 serves two-year and four-year public and private institutions, including community colleges, HBCUs, technical systems, and graduate and online programs. It is best suited to schools coordinating recruitment, advising, retention, and engagement across staff and student services. Institutions with narrower needs should weigh whether the campus-wide scope is justified.

Pros and cons

Pros

Staff workflows and student-facing services share one platform, spanning cases, outreach, advising, and student-reported concerns.
Analytics include predictive models, intervention and population analysis, scheduled reports, and data exports.
The enterprise license has no per-user or per-office fees, and partners receive dedicated strategic and year-round technical support.

Cons

Custom pricing depends on enrollment and technology scope, so institutions need a quote to assess budget fit.
The breadth of workflows and optional data connections can make implementation and institutional coordination substantial.
Schools looking only for a narrow advising or student-planning function may find the enterprise scope unnecessary.

Alternatives

Choose Ellucian Degree Works when degree audit and planning are the priority; its pricing is also quote-based, with a 2024 Ellucian document tying price to full-time equivalent students. Civitas Advising is another paid platform with an annual subscription, institution-size scaling, and a typical multi-year term; its price depends on scope and integrated systems.

For admissions and enrollment workflows, Slate has a published plan at 30000.00 USD per year for institutions with fewer than 1,500 annual submitted applications. Watermark Student Success & Engagement is another paid option for student success and engagement.

FlightPath is a free, self-hosted alternative for institutions prepared to run a web server with MySQL and PHP. ConexED Retain, Stellic, and AdviseU are also paid alternatives.

Verdict

Choose Navigate360 if your institution needs a shared system for student engagement, coordinated staff support, analytics, and campus-wide data connections. Its broad workflows and support model are the main reasons to consider it; custom enrollment-based pricing and the scope of implementation are the main reasons to look elsewhere if you need only a focused advising tool.
