Overview

Shipper TMS manages auto transport from order creation through payment, with electronic documentation and real-time tracking. Carrier TMS and the Driver App cover load management, electronic bills of lading, inspections, billing, and reporting. Bringing shipper and carrier workflows into one platform can help businesses coordinate vehicle moves, while the feature split between plans matters: free users give up several tools that support visibility and back-office efficiency.

Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, Super Dispatch focuses specifically on moving cars. It is not a general-purpose dispatch platform, so its fit is strongest for businesses whose operations center on auto transport.

Key features

The Driver App is available on Android and iOS, while map schedule views and live location tracking support dispatch visibility. Carrier tools include load management, eBOLs, inspections, GPS tracking, billing, and reporting. These capabilities suit active transport operations, but Carrier TMS Lite excludes GPS tracking and advanced reporting, limiting its usefulness for teams that need ongoing fleet visibility or operational analysis.

Shipper TMS adds electronic documentation and shipment tracking across the order-to-payment process. Shipper Pro can also use SuperProtect, a paid add-on that surfaces carrier risk signals using account activity, FMCSA data, platform behavior, and historical context. It can add context to shipper decisions, though it is an extra cost rather than part of the core plan.

Integrations include REST APIs, EDI with OpenText, Glovis, and ICL Systems, Zapier, and QuickBooks Online or Desktop. API access is subscription-based and can automate loads, drivers, statuses, and operational data synchronization; businesses depending on API workflows should account for that separate subscription. Super Dispatch completes an annual SOC 2 Type II audit by an independent AICPA-accredited evaluator, and encrypts data in transit and stored data with AES-256.

Pricing

Carrier TMS Lite is free and includes the Driver App, a limited Carrier TMS dashboard, and Super Loadboard. It is aimed at single drivers and small owner-operators who can work without advanced reporting, automated invoicing, GPS tracking, or integrations. That is a meaningful set of omissions for businesses needing automation or visibility beyond basic load handling.

Carrier Pro starts at $55/month per seat, with the first seat at $55/month and each additional seat at $50/month. It adds priority phone, email, or chat support from 7 am to 7 pm CT. This is the more practical carrier option for teams that need paid-tier tools and staffed support, but per-seat billing makes costs rise as the operation adds users.

Shipper Pro starts at $159/month and includes two seats; additional seats cost $79/month. Monthly VIN limits vary by tier, and overage fees may apply, so shippers should match their expected vehicle volume to a tier before committing. Personalized virtual onboarding with a dedicated specialist is included. SuperProtect is a separate paid add-on.

Platforms

Super Dispatch is available on Android, iOS, web, and browser extension, and supports API access. The Driver App serves mobile workflows, while web and integration options support broader shipper and carrier operations.

Who it's for

Shipper Pro is designed for shippers, brokers, dealers, auctions, and fleet leasing businesses managing vehicle moves. Carrier Pro is a better fit for transport teams that need tracking, reporting, invoicing automation, or priority support. Solo drivers and small owner-operators can start with Lite if its excluded features are not essential; businesses that require those capabilities should budget for a paid seat.

Pros and cons

Pro: Shipper workflows run from order creation through payment, with electronic documents and real-time tracking, useful for coordinating vehicle moves end to end.
Pro: Carrier tools combine mobile driver workflows with load management, inspections, billing, and reporting.
Pro: Integrations cover accounting, automation, EDI, and API-based data synchronization for businesses connecting transport operations to other systems.
Con: Lite omits GPS tracking, advanced reporting, automated invoicing, and integrations, leaving a free user with a substantially narrower operational toolkit.
Con: Carrier pricing is seat-based, while Shipper Pro has seat costs and tiered VIN limits with possible overages, so team size and shipment volume can affect the bill.

Alternatives

Numeo may suit a very small operation prioritizing a lower-cost entry point: its free Spot Free plan is limited to one seat and one MC connection, and Spot Pro is $9.99 per month billed annually. Axon Software is another paid option with a free trial for buyers comparing transport software. Ditat offers a paid TMS with pricing available by contacting sales and a personalized demo.

Transflo Mobile+ ELD requires fleet or broker authorization and a Fleet or Broker ID, with premium add-ons available. Alvys starts at $514/month based on monthly load usage and includes unlimited users and business divisions plus 120+ integrations, making it a distinct option for buyers weighing usage-based pricing and broad integration coverage. McLeod Software Transportation Management offers LoadMaster, PowerBroker, LoadMaster LTL, and DocumentPower.

TruckLogics is a paid alternative with a free trial and an Owner Operator plan for 1–2 trucks at $35.96 per year. Degama DTMS offers a trial that requires internet access and contact with a representative to discuss access and evaluation criteria. Browse Trucking Software or Dispatch Software for more options.

Verdict

Super Dispatch is a strong fit for auto shippers and carriers that want shipment management, driver tools, and operational integrations in one vehicle-focused platform. The free Lite tier is a sensible start for a solo operator with modest needs, but teams should choose it only if they can live without its excluded tracking and automation features. Seat charges, shipper VIN limits, and possible overages are the main reasons to compare alternatives before scaling.
