Overview

Decisions is a business process automation and orchestration platform for coordinating workflows, rules, people, systems, and AI. It is best suited to teams that need governed processes across applications; its breadth is less compelling for buyers who need only lightweight task tracking. The main trade-off is custom pricing, which makes it harder to assess fit without engaging the maker.

Key features

Visual workflow design brings process steps and business rules into the same environment. That is useful when work needs to follow defined decision logic, not just move between people. Approval workflows, intake forms, recurring work, and action-item tracking support structured operations, while reporting is custom rather than a fixed reporting tier.

AI agents can be embedded in governed workflows with rules, approvals, human oversight, and process visibility. This is a stronger fit for organizations that want AI operating within controlled processes than for teams seeking a standalone AI assistant. Process intelligence adds a way to monitor performance, find inefficiencies, and improve processes and decisions.

Prebuilt integrations include Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira, SAP SQL Anywhere, and OpenAI. REST and SOAP APIs, database connections, OpenAPI and Swagger import, and SDK-based custom connectors give technical teams additional routes to connect systems. That flexibility suits mixed environments, though custom integrations can call for engineering capacity.

Cloud, hybrid, and on-premise deployment options accommodate different infrastructure preferences. Decisions also says it holds ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2, HITRUST, and PCI DSS credentials, aligns with GDPR and CCPA, and uses encryption, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, a bug bounty program, and role-based access controls. These are relevant strengths for organizations with security and governance requirements.

Pricing

Decisions is paid, with custom pricing on request. A free plan is also offered, but no cap or included usage is described, so teams should confirm what it permits before treating it as a workable long-term tier.

Foundation includes a low-code design studio and standard agentic AI and agent builder capabilities. Growth broadens automation and governance and adds advanced agentic AI and agent builder capabilities. Enterprise adds high availability, multiple regions, and enterprise agentic AI and agent builder capabilities. All three plans have custom pricing, so buyers should compare the exact limits and support terms in a quote rather than assume the tier names define capacity. Custom plans can include custom limits, advanced security, and dedicated support.

Professional Services can help with architecture, implementation, delivery, testing, and go-live, either collaboratively or through a full-service model. That may help teams that lack internal delivery capacity, but it is a services engagement rather than a substitute for confirming subscription costs and scope.

Platforms

Decisions supports Android, iOS, web, Windows, API access, and self-hosted deployment. Together with cloud, hybrid, and on-premise options, this range can suit organizations spanning user-facing applications and controlled infrastructure environments.

Who it's for

Decisions fits teams that want to automate operational processes with business rules, approvals, integrations, and process oversight in one platform. Its range from small teams improving daily operations to enterprises coordinating complex systems gives it broad potential, but the governance, deployment, and integration choices are most valuable where processes cross systems or carry meaningful control requirements. A buyer seeking a simple task manager or a clearly priced self-serve product should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros: Visual workflow design, rules, approvals, and AI orchestration work together, making it relevant for governed automation rather than isolated task flows.
Pros: Prebuilt integrations, API options, and custom connectors give teams several ways to connect existing systems.
Pros: Cloud, hybrid, on-premise, and self-hosted choices support varied deployment needs.
Cons: Custom pricing and unspecified free-plan limits make cost and initial fit difficult to judge before contacting the maker.
Cons: Custom reporting and custom integrations may require additional planning and technical effort.

Alternatives

For a narrower business-rules focus, compare Business Rules Management Software. Teams centered on coordinating systems and processes can explore Process Orchestration Software, while deal teams can review Deal Desk Software. Organizations focused on meeting workflows may prefer Meeting Management Software; those comparing broader process platforms can see Business Process Management Software or Workflow Management Software.

InRule Decisioning is another paid option across Android, iOS, API, self-hosted, web, and Windows, with subscription pricing based on configurable components. DecisionRules offers a free tier capped at 10 rules and flows, one user, one project, and 1,000 Solver API calls, making it worth considering when a small, defined rules workload and a stated free allowance matter. GoRules BRMS has a Pro plan at 167.00 USD per month, billed $2,000 annually, with five users, two projects, up to 20 decision models per project, and one deployment environment; it may suit buyers who want a published paid tier and can work within those caps.

Nected offers a free self-hosted tier with unlimited rules and workflows and 1,000 daily invocations, a practical alternative for teams prioritizing a defined self-hosted allowance. OpenL Tablets is a free option. FlexRule Open uses paid pricing by quote, while SAS Visual Statistics is an enterprise-scale statistical modeling product on SAS Viya. ACTICO Decision Management Platform has a one-month trial with its platform tool stack, one named Modeler user, one Model Hub instance, and one Execution Server instance, making it a useful option for evaluating a defined trial package.

Verdict

Decisions is a strong candidate for organizations that need workflows, rules, integrations, and AI orchestration under governance, especially when deployment flexibility matters. Choose it for that breadth and process visibility; look elsewhere if a transparent price, clearly bounded free tier, or simpler task-focused tool is the priority.
