Overview

ATLAS FORGE LLC’s service combines character planning with guides, tier lists, game guides, and news. The planner covers skills, equipment, Paragon, specialization, and mercenaries, while the map and event tracker extend its reach beyond build crafting. D4Planner says it is not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment.

The single-game focus gives Diablo IV players a convenient place to plan characters and follow in-game activities, but it does not serve players looking for tools across multiple games. Build and map sharing and embedding are supported; the maker’s pages do not identify external software integrations.

Key features

Build planning and sharing

Planning spans equipment and character systems as well as skills, so players can organize a more complete build than a skill tree alone allows. Save/load and import controls help those who revisit or adapt builds; sharing and embedding make it easier to pass plans along. These tools are focused on Diablo IV, not a general-purpose build library.

Interactive map

The map tracks dungeons, Altars of Lilith, quests, bosses, vendors, events, and chests. That breadth can help players keep objectives in view while playing, and export, import, and clear controls give them ways to manage map data. Players who only need build planning may find the map’s range less important than the planner itself.

Event timing and notifications

The tracker shows expected times for World Boss, Helltide, and Legion events, with push notifications. That is useful for players who plan sessions around those activities. On iOS, notifications require adding D4Planner to the home screen, an extra setup step that makes the reminder feature less direct than simply installing the app.

Privacy and support

The privacy policy names Google Play Services, AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, and Facebook among third-party services. It says the company and advertising partners collect information for tailored ads and that certain personal information categories were sold through ad-supported services in the preceding 12 months. It also says internet transmission and electronic storage cannot be guaranteed absolutely secure. Players uncomfortable with ad-supported data collection should weigh that cost alongside the free price. The service is not directed at children under 13 and says it does not knowingly collect their personal information.

App support is available by email, while the site points users to Discord for more prompt help. The site says a Discord subscription removes ads and grants a special Discord role, but that subscription has no stated price. It does not describe an external integration offering.

Pricing

Free

0.00 USD per free — The plan costs nothing and is ad-supported. It suits players who want the planner, map, and event tools without paying. The trade-off is advertising, including the data practices described in the privacy policy. A Discord subscription removes ads and grants a special role, but its price is custom pricing.

No trial, renewal term, seat allowance, or usage quota is stated. The free plan’s stated cost is clear, but players seeking an ad-free experience must consider a separate Discord subscription with custom pricing.

Platforms

D4Planner is available on Android, iOS, and the web. The App Store lists the iPhone and iPad app as free and requires iOS 13 or later or iPadOS 13 or later. iOS users should account for the home-screen step required to enable event notifications.

Who it's for

D4Planner is a strong fit for Diablo IV players who want build organization, location tracking, and event timing in one service, especially those comfortable with free, ad-supported access. It is less suitable for players who want a multi-game planner, an ad-free plan with a stated price, or iOS notifications without extra setup.

Pros and cons

Pros: Build sections cover skills, equipment, Paragon, specialization, and mercenaries, with save/load, import, share, and embed controls.
Pros: The map tracks a wide range of locations and activities, with controls to export, import, and clear map data.
Pros: Expected World Boss, Helltide, and Legion times plus push notifications can help players coordinate sessions.
Cons: The free plan is ad-supported, and the privacy policy describes tailored advertising and sale of certain personal information categories.
Cons: iOS notification setup requires adding the service to the home screen.
Cons: Its tools cover Diablo IV alone, limiting its value to players seeking planners across games.

Verdict

Choose D4Planner if Diablo IV is your focus and you want build planning, a broad interactive map, and event timing without a subscription. Its range of companion tools is the main reason to pick it; ad-supported data practices and the iOS notification setup are the clearest reasons to look elsewhere.
