Overview

Contractor+ covers a wide spread of contractor operations: CRM and lead generation, project and field service management, bookkeeping, estimates, scheduling, invoicing, client communications and portal, time and mileage tracking, and AI tools. The company says it serves more than 30 industries, including general contracting, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, roofing, and handyman services. That breadth may suit businesses managing both customer relationships and field jobs; it is less compelling for someone seeking only a lightweight invoicing app.

Online payments, payment requests, and recurring invoices support billing workflows. The QuickBooks Online integration automatically syncs estimates, invoices, and client data, which can reduce duplicate entry for businesses already using that accounting product. Integrations also include suppliers and services such as ABC Supply, Lowe's, Angi Leads, CompanyCam, EagleView, Hover, Thumbtack, and Wisetack.

Key features

Jobs and customer workflows

CRM, lead generation, scheduling, project and field service management, and communications bring customer and job administration into one product. A client portal and time and mileage tracking add useful coverage for contractors coordinating work and keeping track of field activity. The feature breadth is a strength for businesses wanting connected operations, though it may be more than a billing-only user needs.

Estimates, invoices, and integrations

FREEDOM allows up to five estimates or invoices monthly, while PRO offers unlimited estimates and invoices. That makes the free tier suitable for occasional documents, not steady billing. The integrations page includes QuickBooks Online and a range of trade-related services. For enterprise customers and strategic integration partners, the developer API can expose more than 400 endpoints, with operations covering contacts, properties, jobs, work orders, estimates, invoices, expenses, requests, and opportunities; communications are marked as coming soon.

Pricing

FREEDOM is 0.00 USD per free, billed Free forever. It includes Basic CRM, up to 250 leads and clients, up to five estimates or invoices per month, and web, mobile, and tablet access. The client and document caps make it a genuine starter option, but businesses with more leads or routine monthly billing will need a paid tier.

PRO is 29.00 USD per month for one user, with unlimited leads and clients and unlimited estimates and invoices. It is the clearest fit for a solo contractor whose business has outgrown the free caps. PRO TEAM is 58.00 USD per month with the first two users included, then $20/month per additional user; it suits a small crew needing multiple seats, though each additional seat raises the bill. MAX is 500.00 USD per month for unlimited users and includes $1K/yr in Voice credits and $1K/yr in AI credits, positioning it for larger operations that can use those included credits.

A 14-day trial is offered for most premium features, including job scheduling and team chat. Annual contracts are billed upfront in one invoice, and prices exclude VAT and sales tax where applicable. Customers can cancel at any time through self-service, but sales are final with no refunds, so the no-refund term deserves attention before committing.

Platforms

Contractor+ is available on Android, iOS, and web. Its free plan also supports mobile and tablet, while the product is designed for desktop and mobile use, giving contractors options for office and field access.

Who it's for

Contractor+ is a strong candidate for contractors in trades such as HVAC, plumbing, roofing, landscaping, and general contracting who need customer records, job coordination, and billing in one platform. Solo operators can start with FREEDOM, but the five-document monthly cap makes PRO the more workable choice once estimates and invoices become routine. Teams should compare the two included PRO TEAM seats and $20/month additional-user charge against their staffing needs. Businesses interested only in simple invoicing may find the broader operating scope unnecessary.

Pros and cons

Broad contractor workflow coverage: CRM, field service, scheduling, billing, and time and mileage tools address more than invoicing alone.
Useful QuickBooks Online sync: Estimates, invoices, and client data sync automatically, helping avoid duplicate record entry.
A usable free starting point: FREEDOM includes 250 leads and clients and access on web, mobile, and tablet, but caps estimates or invoices at five per month.
Costs scale with seats: PRO TEAM includes two users, then charges $20/month per additional user; MAX costs 500.00 USD per month.
No refunds: Cancellation is self-service, but final sales mean a paid commitment carries extra risk if the product proves unsuitable.

Alternatives

Contractor Invoicing Software, Plumbing Software, and Handyman Software are useful category lists for comparing products focused on those needs.

Invoice Ninja is worth considering for someone prioritizing invoicing and broad platform support: its free plan allows five clients and unlimited invoicing, and it supports Android, iOS, web, desktop, Linux, Windows, API, and self-hosting.

InvoiceGo may suit an iOS user who wants a free-to-download option with separately priced AI estimate credits and a Pro purchase. Bookipi offers a broader Android, iOS, web, and extension footprint, but its free plan is capped at three invoices and three eSignatures a month.

Invoice Plus may be a better fit for someone seeking mobile and web invoicing with offline mobile use: its free Basic plan includes 10 invoices per month and basic expense tracking. Invoicely is another free option, though its free plan limits users to five monthly invoices, three saved clients, no team members, and PayPal only.

Zoho Invoice is a free alternative for Indian businesses, with up to two users, three projects, and 500 invoices per year. FreshBooks may suit readers considering a paid accounting and invoicing product with a free trial; its listed monthly plans are Lite at 23.00 USD per month, Plus at 43.00 USD per month, and Premium at 70.00 USD per month. Joist is a paid alternative with a free trial.

Verdict

Contractor+ is best for trade businesses that want customer, field-job, and billing tools together, especially when QuickBooks Online syncing matters. Choose FREEDOM only if five monthly estimates or invoices and 250 leads and clients are enough; PRO or PRO TEAM removes the document bottleneck for solo users and small crews. Look elsewhere if invoicing alone is the priority, or if the no-refund policy makes a paid commitment unacceptable.
