Overview

BusyBusy is a workforce time-tracking and coordination app for employers managing people in the field as well as on the web. It suits teams that want to begin with unlimited users and add oversight or project tools as their needs grow. Its strongest draw is the free starting point; its main drawback is that the paid tiers require custom pricing.

Key features

Time and attendance

Break and overtime tracking, geofencing, kiosk mode, and payroll integrations address common attendance workflows. Together, they make BusyBusy a sensible candidate for teams tracking shifts across locations. Payroll integrations are a useful inclusion, though teams that depend on a particular provider should confirm compatibility before choosing it.

Supervisor tools

Pro adds GPS breadcrumbing, supervisor tools, daily sign-offs, photos and notes, and scheduling. These additions make the upgrade relevant to managers who need more than clock-ins: they offer ways to organize schedules and capture context around a workday. Teams that only need basic timekeeping may not need that broader set.

Project coordination

Premium includes everything in Pro and adds documents, daily project reports, progress tracking, checklists, and team messaging. That makes it the more suitable tier for teams that want project updates and coordination alongside workforce tracking. For an employer seeking only attendance tools, the extra project features may be unnecessary.

Pricing

BusyBusy uses a freemium model, with a 14-day trial and three named plans. The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and supports unlimited users, making it the clearest fit for teams that want to start without a per-seat charge. The plan details do not identify its feature set, so buyers should confirm which tools it covers before relying on it for a specific workflow.

Pro and Premium use custom pricing. Pro is aimed at teams that need GPS breadcrumbing, supervisor controls, sign-offs, photos and notes, or scheduling. Premium is the step up for teams that also need documents, reports, progress tracking, checklists, and messaging. Since neither paid tier has a published price, compare a quote against the value of those additions before moving beyond Free.

Platforms

BusyBusy is available on the web, iOS, and Android, with a mobile app. This mix suits teams that need both browser access and mobile use; no other platform is identified.

Who it's for

BusyBusy is best suited to employers coordinating time and work across field teams, particularly those who can begin with an unlimited-user free plan and later need supervisor or project features. It is less compelling for buyers who need a known paid price before evaluating an upgrade, or who only want a simple attendance tool without the added project workflow.

Pros and cons

Pro: The Free plan supports unlimited users at 0.00 USD per free, avoiding a stated user cap on the entry tier.
Pro: Break and overtime tracking, geofencing, kiosk mode, and payroll integrations cover several practical timekeeping needs.
Pro: Pro and Premium extend timekeeping into scheduling, supervisor oversight, project reporting, and team coordination.
Con: Pro and Premium have custom pricing, making upgrade costs harder to compare in advance.
Con: The Free plan's included features are not identified, so buyers cannot determine from the plan description alone whether it covers their needs.
Con: Payroll integrations are named without identifying providers, which may matter to teams with an existing payroll system.

Verdict

BusyBusy is a strong fit for field-oriented employers who want unlimited users on a free entry plan and may benefit from adding location context, supervisor controls, or project coordination. Its practical mix of timekeeping and team features is the reason to choose it; the main reason to look elsewhere is the need to compare paid costs upfront, since Pro and Premium use custom pricing.
