Overview

The combination of website chatbot, live-agent chat, visitor tracking and omnichannel chat gives businesses more than a basic website chat window. Email functions—including inbound email, templates, SMTP relay and delivery-event webhooks—broaden its appeal to teams handling both conversations and email. That breadth is useful for a lean operation; teams that need several agents should weigh the seat charges before committing.

Key features

Automated and live chat: A website chatbot can handle automated conversations, while live-agent chat covers exchanges that need a person. This pairing suits businesses that need both modes, though one free seat is not enough for a staffed support desk.
Visitor tracking: Tracking gives the chat offering a website context, which can help an agent understand who is engaging before responding.
Omnichannel chat: The channel-spanning approach is a better fit for businesses managing conversations beyond a single website chat channel.
Email functions: Inbound email, email templates, SMTP relay and delivery-event webhooks support email workflows alongside chat. The 5,000 monthly send limit makes the email side less suitable for high-volume sending.
Dedicated IP option: A dedicated IP is available as an option for businesses that need one.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free, is free forever, requires no credit card and has no time limit. It includes one user, making it a sensible way for a solo operator to begin, but the seat cap rules it out for a multi-agent team.

Pro costs 15.00 USD per month, with an additional cost of $15 per month per user, and supports up to 10 users. The per-user charge makes the expense rise with each agent, so it is worth comparing the total against a team's staffing needs rather than focusing on the starting price. The 5,000 monthly send limit also matters for teams intending to use the email functions at scale.

Platforms

Brevo Conversations is available on web, iOS and Android, giving users access across desktop and mobile platforms.

Who it's for

This is a stronger fit for a small business or solo operator that wants website chat, visitor tracking and email functions without paying upfront. It is less suited to a support operation that needs many agents or expects substantial email volume: the free tier stops at one user, Pro charges per user, and sending is capped at 5,000 per month.

Pros and cons

Pros: Website chatbot, live-agent chat and visitor tracking bring automated and human conversations together.
Pros: The free plan lasts indefinitely, needs no credit card and includes one user.
Pros: Email templates, inbound email, SMTP relay and delivery-event webhooks extend its use beyond chat.
Cons: The free plan's single-user limit leaves multi-agent teams needing a paid plan.
Cons: Pro's $15-per-user monthly charge can add up as the team grows.
Cons: A 5,000 monthly send limit constrains higher-volume email use.
