Overview

AI.dp combines OCR, classification, conversion, verification, and fraud detection, then connects those steps in a workflow from document intake through validation. It supports more than 50 document types out of the box and can be trained for custom types, making it a stronger fit for organizations with varied paperwork than for teams seeking a narrowly focused scanner.

Teams choose the fields to extract from a library of more than 150, then use business rules or human review to approve or correct results. Batch processing handles thousands of documents in parallel. That capacity and control suit repeatable operations, though the workflow approach requires teams to determine their fields and validation steps.

Key features

Extraction and matching: Supplier, line-item, and tax extraction, along with PO matching, support finance and procurement processes. Custom document training adds flexibility when standard document types are not enough.
Workflow controls: A drag-and-drop builder, prompt builder, access controls, and asynchronous APIs provide several ways to shape intake, extraction, and validation. Human-in-the-loop review lets operators correct OCR results; this is useful where errors need oversight, but retains a manual step.
Integration and output: APIs and SDKs come with documentation, and implementation can generally be completed within a day. Connections cover more than 200 business apps, with custom connections through the API. Outputs include JSON, XML, CSV, XLSX, UBL, PDF, and TXT; structured data can also be exported in more than 20 formats.
Security and data handling: Doxis cites ISO 27001 and ISAE 3000 Type I certifications, GDPR and CCPA compliance, SSL encryption, and EU hosting. It says customer data is not stored by default and is processed under a data processing agreement. Amsterdam is the default server location, with custom locations available on request.
Language coverage: The platform supports Latin-based languages and Doxis works with businesses to expand coverage to others. That is a meaningful constraint for organizations whose documents rely on non-Latin scripts.

Pricing

Doxis AI.dp is paid software with a free trial and a starting price of €95/mo. A free plan is not offered. The Free credits option costs 0.00 EUR per free and includes €25.00 worth of free credit, then pay-as-you-go usage billed monthly. This gives teams a way to evaluate usage before committing, but it is not an ongoing free tier.

Custom pricing depends on volume, workflow complexity, and subscription plan. That structure can suit organizations whose workloads vary, but teams need a quote to assess ongoing cost. No seat or processing quota is stated for the paid starting price.

Platforms

AI.dp is available on Android, iOS, and web, with API access for integration. It is a cloud deployment, so it is suited to teams building connected workflows rather than those requiring a self-hosted deployment.

Who it's for

Finance, transportation and logistics, manufacturing, KYC, and retail teams are among the intended users. It is particularly apt where several document types must be extracted, routed, and checked at scale. Teams should look elsewhere if they need a free plan, self-hosting, or established support for non-Latin scripts.

Pros and cons

Pro: More than 50 ready document types and over 150 selectable fields cover a broad range of business paperwork.
Pro: Human review and business-rule approvals provide a choice between operator correction and automated validation.
Pro: Batch processing of thousands of documents in parallel supports high-volume workflows.
Con: The €95/mo starting price and lack of a free plan may rule it out for small or occasional workloads.
Con: Language support is centered on Latin-based scripts, which limits fit for some international document operations.
Con: Cloud deployment does not meet a self-hosting requirement.

Alternatives

For a broader look at this category, browse Intelligent Document Processing Software. For a specific use case, see Invoice OCR Software or AI OCR Software. Resume-focused teams can compare Resume Parsing Software.

DiscoverCloud Resume Parser is worth considering for resume parsing when a free plan, self-hosted option, or 40+ language support matters more than AI.dp's broad business-document workflow capabilities.

DocuShell Resume Parsing API suits a resume-parsing use case where a free tier of 500 credits per month is useful, though that tier has no API access and limits files to 50 MB and PDFs to 50 pages.

Online Resume Parser is another resume-focused option, with a €24.00 per month Starter plan that includes 500 credits per month and API access.

RChilli Resume Parser may suit teams focused on resume parsing that want a free plan and coverage of 40+ resume languages and 200+ resume fields.

Parseur is an alternative for email parsing, with a free plan capped at 20 pages per month and one user.

HrFlow.ai Parsing API is another parsing option, charging €0.1 per successful request with 100 free requests per month.

Resume Mapper offers a one-time trial of 25 CV parses for resume extraction.

Airparser may be preferable for readers seeking a trial without a free plan, with 20 credits per month and all features included.

Verdict

Choose Doxis AI.dp if your team needs configurable, high-volume processing across multiple business document types, with human review and integration options to fit established operations. Its strongest reason to choose is the combination of broad extraction and workflow controls; its €95/mo starting price, custom-pricing structure, and Latin-script language scope are the clearest reasons to compare alternatives.
