Overview

Auromine is point-of-sale software for jewellery shops and general retailers, with web and Android access. It is best suited to shops that can choose a plan around a defined counter setup; the free tiers are useful for a small operation but cap invoices and items.

Barcode scanning, purchase and sales orders, and stock alerts address checkout and inventory workflows beyond basic sales. The main buying decision is whether the chosen plan’s counter type and user allowance fit the way the shop operates.

Founded in 2020 and based in Chennai, Auromine also sits within Retail Management Software and Inventory Management Software.

Key features

Barcode scanning: A useful capability for shops that handle items by barcode.
Purchase and sales orders: Support for both workflows makes Auromine relevant to retailers managing procurement as well as customer transactions.
Stock alerts: Gives inventory monitoring a place in the POS workflow.
Web and Android: The platform range includes web and Android, while the plans distinguish mobile, web, and desktop counters. Check that the counter type in a plan matches the intended setup.

Pricing

Auromine is freemium. Its pricing note gives paid plans from ₹699/yr and a 21-day trial. The plans below are billed per shop, per year, excluding GST; the free plans carry the same 30-invoice monthly and 200-item caps.

Jewellery POS

Plan	Price	Allowance
Pearl	0.00 INR per free	1 counter; 30 invoices per month; 200 items
Silver	2999.00 INR per year	1 mobile counter; unlimited invoices and items
Gold	3999.00 INR per year	1 web counter; unlimited invoices and items
Platinum	5499.00 INR per year	1 mobile counter and 1 web counter; unlimited invoices and items
Diamond	9999.00 INR per year	5 counters or users; unlimited invoices and items

Pearl is the no-cost starting point for a jewellery shop that can stay within the invoice and item limits. Silver and Gold remove those caps but each provides only one counter, with the choice between mobile and web. Platinum is the more direct fit for a shop needing both counter types; Diamond raises the allowance to five counters or users for a larger setup.

Retail POS

Plan	Price	Allowance
Free	0.00 INR per free	1 counter; 30 invoices per month; 200 items
Mobile	699.00 INR per year	1 mobile counter; unlimited invoices and items
Desktop	999.00 INR per year	1 desktop counter; unlimited invoices and items
Mobile + Desktop	1499.00 INR per year	1 mobile counter and 1 desktop counter; unlimited invoices and items
5 Users	4999.00 INR per year	5 counters or users; unlimited invoices and items

The Retail Free plan suits a shop whose volume and catalogue fit the caps. Mobile at 699.00 INR per year removes both limits for a single mobile counter; Desktop costs 999.00 INR per year for one desktop counter. Mobile + Desktop combines one of each, while 5 Users is the option for shops needing up to five counters or users. Those paid tiers remove invoice and item limits but still define the counter or user allowance, so a shop needing more capacity should weigh the higher tier against its actual setup.

Both free editions trade unlimited use for a 30-invoice monthly ceiling and a 200-item ceiling. Paid plans are annual per-shop prices, excluding GST, and the 21-day trial gives prospective buyers a limited period to assess fit.

Platforms

Auromine is available on web and Android, with mobile apps listed. Plan counter types also include desktop, so the relevant plan allowance matters alongside the platform the shop intends to use.

Who it's for

Auromine is a sensible shortlist choice for jewellery stores and general retailers seeking POS plans with explicit annual prices and counter allowances. It is less compelling for a shop that would quickly exceed the free limits, needs a counter configuration beyond the paid tier allowances, or requires platforms beyond web and Android.

Pros and cons

Pros

Free entry point: Both jewellery and retail shops can start without a plan charge, provided 30 monthly invoices and 200 items are sufficient.
Clear counter choices: Paid tiers separate mobile, web, desktop, paired counters, and five-counter/user setups.
Uncapped paid invoices and items: Every paid plan removes the free-tier invoice and item caps.
Retail starting price: The Mobile plan begins at 699.00 INR per year for a single mobile counter and unlimited invoices and items.

Cons

Free plans are capped: Shops exceeding 30 invoices per month or 200 items need a paid plan.
Counter flexibility is tier-bound: The lower paid options offer one specified counter type; combined or five-counter setups require higher tiers.
Prices exclude GST: Annual per-shop prices do not include GST, which affects the final cost.

Verdict

Choose Auromine if you run a jewellery shop or general retailer that can match its needs to a defined counter plan and wants annual POS pricing with unlimited invoices and items on paid tiers. Look elsewhere if the free caps are too restrictive or your preferred counter and platform setup falls outside its plan structure.
