Overview

Alvys brings operational work from load creation through driver coordination and financial processes into a shared system. That breadth can suit logistics businesses where office teams and drivers need to stay aligned; an operation seeking only a basic dispatch tool may find more scope than it needs. Founded in 2020, the company is based in Solana Beach, California.

Key features

Dispatch combines automatic load creation with a customizable planner, driver recommendations, rate insights, and driver chat. This gives dispatchers tools for both assigning work and coordinating it, rather than limiting the system to a load board or schedule.

Tracking brings together location data from driver apps, ELDs, telematics, and dispatch updates for real-time load and asset visibility. It is particularly relevant to fleets that rely on multiple sources for location information.

The driver app supports load updates, pickup and delivery check-ins, document uploads, pay-stub visibility, and eChecks. Its document scanning can enhance multi-page files, while Smart Text AI links relevant text messages to load history. These functions can reduce the need to handle driver paperwork and communications separately.

Accounting tools cover invoicing, billing, IFTA reporting, and driver, agent, and carrier settlements. Alvys also lists compliance management, equipment management, and ELD integrations, giving the platform a wider operational remit than dispatch alone.

Alvys advertises 120+ integrations, including Samsara, RMIS, DAT, Motive, RTS, Geotab, and QuickBooks. It also describes an in-house EDI solution and a self-serve API supporting 20+ programming languages. The claimed AI capabilities extend to document handling, load creation, dispatch, and team communications.

Implementation includes support for data migration and training from a dedicated team, with setup typically taking days. Support is offered by chat, phone, or email at no added cost. Alvys says there are no long-term contracts or onboarding fees, and no extra fees for integrations or additional features.

Pricing

Alvys TMS: 514.00 USD per month (billed Starting at $514/month; usage-based pricing based on monthly loads.). The plan includes unlimited users and business divisions, 120+ integrations, dispatch tools, driver settlements, compliance management, the driver mobile app, ELD integrations, and equipment management.

Unlimited users and divisions make the plan a fit for growing or multi-division operations that want broad access without per-seat limits. The starting monthly price is not a flat forecast of total cost: usage is based on monthly loads. Alvys says it has no long-term contracts, onboarding fees, or extra fees for integrations and additional features. No cheaper Alvys plan is presented, so small teams with limited needs should weigh the starting price against how much of the platform they would use.

Platforms

Alvys supports Android, iOS, web, and API access. Its cloud-native design allows access from internet-connected devices, making it relevant to teams working across office systems and driver phones.

Who it's for

Alvys is a strong fit for carriers, brokers, hybrid operators, enterprises, and private fleets that want dispatch, tracking, driver tools, and accounting under one roof. Teams that need broad integrations or multiple divisions may benefit from the unlimited-user structure. It is less compelling for buyers who need only a narrow function or whose load volume makes a usage-based starting price difficult to budget.

Pros and cons

Broad workflow coverage: Dispatch, tracking, driver tasks, documents, accounting, and settlements sit within one TMS, which can reduce operational handoffs.
Multiple location inputs: Tracking combines driver app, ELD, telematics, and dispatch data for load and asset visibility.
Room for larger teams: The plan includes unlimited users and business divisions alongside 120+ integrations.
Variable starting cost: Pricing depends on monthly loads, so the starting monthly figure does not guarantee a predictable bill.
Potentially excessive scope: Operators seeking only basic dispatch may pay for a broader system than they need.

Alternatives

For a specialized carrier or trucking-software shortlist, compare Carrier Management Software and Trucking Software.

Infor Public Sector is another paid option with Android, iOS, API, web, Windows, and self-hosted platforms; its pricing is custom.

McLeod Software Transportation Management offers LoadMaster, PowerBroker, LoadMaster LTL, and DocumentPower, with custom pricing.

DAT One may suit partial-load owner-operators who want a defined search allowance: Standard costs 59.00 USD per month and includes up to 500 load searches per month. Enhanced costs 149.00 USD per month.

CargoTMS is worth comparing for a smaller operation with explicit dispatch, vehicle, driver, order, and document caps: Starter is 24.00 EUR per year, billed annually at 290 EUR, for up to 300 orders per month, 2 dispatchers, 5 vehicles, 5 drivers, 250 MB, and 300 documents per month.

CarrierTool may fit teams prioritizing defined internal-user and completed-load limits: Starter is 995.00 USD per month for up to 5 internal users and 250 completed loads per month, with $4 for each additional completed load and one customer portal.

Descartes MyCarrierPortal is a carrier onboarding and sourcing alternative with identity services and fraud prevention, starting at 515.00 USD per month for unlimited users.

Qargo offers a paid TMS with annual license pricing tailored to annual transportation revenue and unlimited users.

Verdict

Choose Alvys if your operation needs one system for dispatch, tracking, driver workflows, and accounting, especially across multiple users or divisions. Its broad toolset and integration reach are the main reasons to favor it. Look elsewhere if you need only a basic function or want a fixed monthly cost independent of load volume.
